We had a beautiful baby shower at The Hornor Maritime Center this weekend!! The space was clean and beautiful. Lynn was the best hostess we could have asked for!! I would highly recommend this venue!

The HMC was the perfect fit for my daughter's bridal shower. The view of the water was awesome. Lynn is amazing; she was there to help with every aspect of the event to ensure it went smoothly. I can not say enough good about the venue and Lynn. We will use this space to host events in the future! Thank you again!

We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at the Hornor Maritime Center in April and could not have been more pleased with our experience. The venue was a great space to entertain our nearly 70 guests. Our guests first enjoyed drinks on the deck overlooking Back Creek and then dinner inside. Lynn was an amazing coordinator. She assisted us with the planning (even letting us know that certain decorations were available by Hornor for our use) and coordinated with the vendors. She was responsive to our emails and questions in the months leading up to the event. Lynn was on site early the day of the event assisting with set-up and stayed throughout, ensuring that the evening ran smoothly. We were so pleased with our event here and would definitely use this venue again!

The venue is wonderful with amazing views of the water/marina. The party space was perfect for our son's Bar Mitzvah of 85 people. Lynn was amazing to work with. Very helpful and made sure everything was perfect for our day. The experience with this venue was incredible from start to finish. We would love to host another event there. Highly recommend!!!

We had our Wedding here in January 2023 and I have nothing but positive things to say about this hidden gem! We couldn't have asked for a better venue coordinator than Lynn. She went above and beyond to create the perfect wedding day and a great experience for our guests! She was with us every step of the way and answered my many questions as the wedding day got closer, even helping me to coordinate the arrival times of my vendors and answer their questions. The room was transformed for my wedding day, looked beautiful, and was the perfect size for our 90 person wedding with table sand a dance floor. We had several guests remark at what a great venue it was!

We had our 25th anniversary party at the Hornor Maritime Center, and we worked with Lynn. The space is just beautiful, and Lynn is so amazing!! She responds quickly to emails and has so many wonderful ideas to help you plan things and set up the space. It's really beautiful, and the view of the marina is GORGEOUS!! Lynn, if you're reading this, thank you so very much for everything that you did to make our anniversary party successful. We had such an amazing night, and we couldn’t have done it without you! ?

We held our Welcome Drinks and Rehearsal dinner at Hornor and it was the most perfect venue for the event/evening. Working with Lynn was super easy and she set everything up and even broke it down. The venue is spacious and would highly recommend it!

We held my baby shower here, and it was an amazing Venue. The staff was great and even stayed to help set up and break down(on a Sunday!) The view was picturesque and plenty big for what we needed.Will definitely use the venue again!!

Hornor Maritime Center is at the end of Third Street overlooking Back Creek which stems off the Severn River. It's a nice bldg on the corner lot with private garage parking. Also street parking available. Its a rental for all kinds of things. Conferences, small meetings, even baby showers or gamily reunions and wedding rehersals. You name it.*WE came here to celebrate and recognize the recipients of the 2022 Dunkin' Scholarship awards! We were all thrilled. My daughter started working at our local Dunkin' when she was just 16, a Jr. In high-school. She's a real go-getter and working at Dunkin' keeps her moving! Fast forward a couple years, she's 21 and the Assistant Manager at our Dunkin'! The owners at Dunkin' treat her like family and my daughter loves them. She was chosen for a nice size Scholarship and this is why we are here today! Don't ever tell your kids they won't go anywhere working at fast food places or similar. The PR and Marketing people here today representing Dunkin' spoke to her about internship with Dunkin' Marketing. I mean thats her major, is Marketing! She'll graduate GMU in 2023 and thanks to Dunkin' the world is her Oyster. *Plan an event here! Great location!!!

Recently held our son's rehearsal dinner at this wonderful venue. The third(top) floor includes a large open space with windows on three sides and a wide balcony overlooking a beautiful yacht basin with views of the Chesapeake Bay in the distance. There's also an elevator, bathrooms and a small kitchen. Parking is available on the ground floor. The center provided round dining tables and chairs, hightop tables, rectangular tables for our buffet and bar. We also used their fine sound system for toasts(microphone provided) and music (bluetooth). Strings of lights added sparkle. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We had a great time!! Highly recommended.

We hosted a celebration of life for our dear friend, and there was room to move around (or be seated) both inside and out on the 3rd floor deck. The lighting and sound system were fantastic too. But our favorite part was how wonderful the team, especially Lynn, was to work with in setting this up. She was incredible from the first discussion all the way through the end of the night of the event! It made everything go so smoothly and beautiful for the guests. They have many amenities to help with serving food and drinks for an event, as well as elevator up to the top floor for those that have challenge with stairs. We loved our event here and I would host any special event here again. Highly recommend! Thank you for making our evening SO special, and being so kind and thoughtful every step of the planning!

Our staff of 70 had an amazing experience using this space for our kick-off banquet! The view is incredible and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect place & setting for our group’s needs!
