I've had 8 fine art pieces framed and another frame repaired at Maria's and they did a beautiful job on each project. They listen to what you like, make expert recommendations, and are accommodating of your timeline. Highly recommend for collectors.

I bought some cool picture frames at a near by antique store and Maria put in new mirror glass. Maria and staff are friendly and helpful. I now go to there for framing special photos. The shop also sells classy decorative art as well as souvenir art.

Such a beautiful place, I enjoyed seeing all the art, all ranges of talent were set in full view. All the employees I met were very nice and willing to let me wander even though it was close to closing. Id love to go back again.

Bottom Line: A great place to shop for affordable Annapolis and Maryland art. Maria's Picture Place is a long time Annapolis staple with a wonderful collection of prints and other artwork to fit any budget. Maria's features many artists working in a variety of mediums. Many items are framed and ready to hang on your wall but you can also buy an unframed print to either frame on your own or have Maria's custom frame it. I enjoy a lot of the art sold at Maria's but here are some of my favorites: -Legendary photography of M.E. Warren -Carol Dyer's quintessential Annapolis folkart -Raymond Mathew's Chesapeake inspired pop art -Liz Lind's creatively assembled watercolors

Joan was very friendly and helpful with our lack of framing knowledge and shopping direction. We were thrilled to find an old photo taken at a German restaurant (the location of one of our first goofy dates) near my husband's old apartment in Highlandtown, Balt. She more than made up for a simple mishap and let us newlyweds ramble on about our adventures. Pleasant experience, happy to find a treasure that has sentimental value to us.

It is a great shop & the atmosphere is very friendly. I used to work for the owner years ago. I highly recommend Maria's Picture Place.
