I was extremely surprised with how easy, quick, and professional my experience was. I was greeted with a friendly smile as soon as I walked in the door. As someone who doesn’t wear glasses and has never suffered with any type of issue with my eyes till now I was very nervous and intimidated to go to the optometrist. I was taken to a room to do a few exams and the kind lady who brought me answered all my questions about the machines, what they did, and how they worked. She assured me through the whole process and made that experience so clear and pleasant. I did not get her name but she was wearing a ponytail and had an accent. She was phenomenal. After all the tests concluded I was brought into another room and met with doctor. The doctor was clear, kind, professional, and very patient while I asked him a thousand questions. He even took the time to pull out a plastic eyeball diagram to explain everything to me.After informing me that I would indeed need glasses I was paired up with a consultant who I believe name was similar to Angela. As someone who has only ever picked out sunglasses in summer this was a very overwhelming experience. I told her my general style and what I liked/ didn’t like in glasses and she 100% got the vision. She pulled some glasses she thought I may like while I looked around too. She was so easy going and didn’t seem inconvenienced or annoyed by my pickiness!This entire team was such a gem to work with. I am so glad this was my first experience, I will 110% be loyal to this store!

Absolutely a horrible decision to go there: expensive and couldn’t see correctly from right lens. After going back and forth about getting another quick exam in order to rectify the issue, I got frustrated, left my glasses on the counter (didn’t even have them for 24 hours), and left. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place completely. You’re better off going to a out the door chain

Dr. Shields made me the only pair of glasses that have ever truly been correct! He is wonderful and his staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I wouldn’t go to any other eye doctor in town.

Purchasing new glasses was a breeze today with the help of Chrystal. She was so helpful and clearly explained the best frames to prevent the nose slide!! Great customer experience.

I have purchased my Eyewear from the location in the Annapolis Town Center for approximately the last 8-10 years. I went into store last week to purchase new prescription sunglasses. The young lady waiting on me provided several frames. After I informed her that I didn't like any of the frames, she suggested that I might go across the street to their other location. She added that this location is considered a high end store. I was taken aback by her comment. I informed her that I have been purchasing all of my eyewear there over the past several years. It is my recommendation that staff be trained on proper customer service, because providing excellent customer service is what keeps customers returning.

This place was advertised on the insurance website for CareFirst but they refused to accept our insurance. If you are thinking of going here, don’t trust that they take your insurance and either triple check or, even better, find a different eye doctor who keeps their information up to date.

This business advertises themselves on the insurance website (CareFirst CHPMP). However, they would not accept this insurance and did not notify us in advance so we wasted a trip out there. If you want to use insurance, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

My experience at this location was outstanding. A little background: my prescription was overdue, in addition to my glasses suddenly breaking on a Friday night. Needless to say, I was a bit frantic and needed to find a location that would take me right away. I was able to get an appointment for the upcoming Monday which I was absolutely not expecting. I was a bit skeptical due to the location being inside of the town center, however I had no issues parking inside of the garage located closest to Target, and then taking a short walk.The young lady that assisted me with my eye tests was amazing! I always get anxiety prior to the glaucoma examination, however she was super patient with me and made sure I was comfortable before proceeding.Now for Dr. Shields: VERY personable, knowledgeable, patient to say the least. He took his time, explained everything to me from the health of my eye, to making recommendation for Lasik, answering my questions. Overall the customer service is a 10/10 SUPERB

Dr. Sullivan was fantastic. He explained everything and my my checkup was quite pleasant. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about my time there. I had the most frustrating time ordering and receiving my glasses. I won’t go into detail here but I think the front-end staff needs much more training. I like Dr Sullivan but I will not return to this MYEyrDr.. While I do not think all locations are like this, I do not want to take a chance with my money and my time. I emailed their customer service and never got a reply. YMMVJust my experience
