This location is tucked behind the mazda/mitsubishi dealership in Annapolis. The parking lot is TINY and FULL, so just be careful when driving around. I was given a rental from the Mitsubishi dealership at this location. The in-person visit went almost perfectly except the system wouldn't let me add any dings or issues with the vehicle. Mind you I hadn't even seen the car at this point, so I had no clue about any issues. If this comes back to bite me, you can be sure I'll mention it here and drop some stars. The major downside about this location is trying to reach them. When I was there at 5PM on a Wednesday there was one person working the front desk. One phone call came in and that made things more difficult for that person trying to answer the phone and deal with my reservation. It turned out my reservation needed to be extended a couple times which meant I needed to call and check that it happened by the dealership. Calling their listed number sends you to Nextcar's main line, not the Annapolis office. When I'd ask if the agreement had been extended, the person would have no clue. I'd eventually be transferred to the Annapolis office on hold. After around 2 minutes the line would hang up. This happened 4 times before I called the number again and told them they needed to send me to a different number. The person apologized, said they'd do a "warm handoff" and I waited. Next thing I know I'm back on the hold line and hung up again. Annoying and a total waste of an hour and a half with nothing to show for it. Trying to have Nextcar and the dealership that is literally a 2 minute walk away from them talk to each other is far more difficult than it should be. What I learned is the contract automatically renews the night before, meaning it would appear the car is due back Monday up until Monday morning. Instead of saying "we'll call the dealership and check" I had to act as a go between to make sure everything went smoothly. At times employees at the dealership would say "I have no idea about that" or "Call them (nextcar) and tell them to extend it" only to be told the dealership needed to call. So yeah, coordination clearly isn't their strong suit and can lead to headaches.Would I rent a car from them again? Yeah, the process was pretty painless. If I thought there would be a need to extend it or talk to someone, I'd probably look elsewhere.

Car immediately available, clean, fuelled up, working fine, no problem. I forgot my glasses in the car when I returned it so David and Kim helped me find them. A+ service!

Booked a car ahead of time, showed up, car was immediately available, clean, working well, fuelled up. Can't complain. But then I forgot my glasses and had to go back. Kim and David helped me find them! A+ service!

Customer service was lacking at drop off and pick up. Car had less than a full tank of gas even though though we were required to return it with a full tank of gas. A prior renter must have been a smoker because the car reeked of smoke that they tried to cover up with cleaning scents. When we discussed it at drop off the rental agent shrugged his shoulders when we said we would not use the rental company again. 0/10 would not recommend.

Due to all the normal rental agencies being sold out for the holiday weekend, we decided to book thru Nextcar as their website showed availability. After trying to reserve twice (and entering a lot of information), the system kept telling me there was a booking error. So I called. A very curt and impolite woman told me they were all sold out. My response: All sold out of everything? No they weren’t but she sure wasn’t very willing to give me the information. Be forewarned that they also require the complete declarations page from your auto insurance policy. The return experience was equally unpleasant when encountering the same woman. If it were a last resort, I might come back as the car itself ended up being fine. I just can’t tolerate unprofessional people in customer service jobs.

I had picked this location due to opening at 7:30am and I was able to make a reservation and pay for it right on their own website for 7:30am. I had a time deadline to make it to a destination. I arrive at 7:25am and no one there. Wait around till 7:40am and I call their 1-800 number and lady tells me “that location doesn’t open till 8am”. Well change your website! I ended up not getting out of there till 8:10am and was late for my destination. At least the counter guy was nice, but this company is a joke. Car was fine though, sorta beat up and wasn’t clean. gave me a 1/4 tank free fuel for it though. Only reason why it’s not 1 star.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE!!! They charged me hidden insurance fees that were not mentioned on the website and I ended up paying triple the amount. Wasted my time and money and didn’t even upgrade me to accommodate for the amount of money I paid. Don’t be fooled with the prices online or you will get scammed. Uncooperative disrespectful people. This is the last time I will be renting from this god awful place!!!!!

Horrible company to work with. They don't greet you when you walk in even though you are the only people at the counter. One employee just walked away the other employee just looked down. Then after 5 minutes decided that they wanted to talk to us. Cancled the reservation and will never use this inconsiderate company again.

Made the mistake of trying here again. First time I made a reservation the truck was not there when I went to pick it up, I was told because I was late. I can understand mistakes, but the customer service was HORRIBLE. Today I chose the prepay method, figuring they will not give my truck away if I prepay. As it turns out, they had no trucks in stock today and was told the reservation should not have been allowed online due to their lack of trucks. Again, I can forgive that, but not the HORRIBLE customer service that went along with this experience. When I asked for a refund, I was just told "I don't have your money" Not "lets call corporate and see what we can do", or "I'm really sorry, but what you're going to have to do here is call this 800 number and explain..." nothing. On a positive note, customer service was helpful and says they are refunding my money. They were making an exception to their no refunds on pre pays (somehow I missed the fine print)
