I recently bought a couple dog beds and some toys from PetSmart and was told that without giving them my email address and phone number I could not get the sale prices advertised. I asked what they would need my information for and how they would use it. I was told that I could opt out of any marketing, and that they would not share my information with other marketing companies, that was a LIE. Within 24 hours of giving Petsmart my personal information I was bombarded by texts, phone calls, and emails from marketing companies. Many are predatory using scare tactics to illicit a response. What a miserable experience and the worst part is, I don’t know how long this will go on. I received a relatively low number of Robo calls before this and now it’s several a day every day. I have returned the items I bought from Petsmart and will continue to let everyone I know in just how misleading and unconscionable this corporation is. They should be making their money selling pet supplies not personal information.

Closest location to us unfortunately but always has the food we need for our pups in stock. They’re the only ones who carry our brand so I will always drive to here.
Parking lot isn’t the greatest as it’s very cramped but the customer service is always good.

NEVER GO HERE!!! GO TO PETCO AT THE RIVA FESTIVAL!!
My wife and I frequently visit this location because we have three Maine Coons who go through a ton of food and litter. I have had fish my entire life (I'm 35 now) and my wife wanted her own tank so we spent $400 to get her a set up. It's only a 10 gallon but it's a starter tank.
We stopped by after work yesterday to get a clown pleco and a couple snails for her tank. While looking, one of their associates came up and asked if we needed help in a snarky attitude. We tell her yes, we would like to to get a couple fish. Her response is "Are you actually going to buy something". Taken back by her tone and choice of words my wife still excitedly says she wants to get one of the clown plecos for her tank. The associate asked what size tank (In my 35 years I have never once been asked that when selecting a fish) my wife tells her a 10 gallon. She then proceeds to point at the "Recommended 20 gallon tank" on the sticker for the clown pleco. I tell her it's a starter tank. She just stands there with her arms crossed and says "OK". We ask her for the one she wants but she continues to stand there and not say anything. We ask again if she will grab the fish and she says no because her tank is too small. Never once asking us if we have another tank to move him when it grows, had fish tanks before, understand it will grow up to 4 inches? They had about 30 of them in a 5 gallon tank waiting to be bought but she refused to sell us this fish or even act in any type of respectful manor. We put all of our items back. My wife being upset, we leave.
I wasn't going to post a review but after calling and talking with a supervisor it only got worse. I fill her in on interaction and I tell her how we just spent almost a thousand dollars in their store the day before and do monthly she replies, will that's the problem, you just bought the tank. I tell her I never said that to the associate and I have other tanks the already have bacteria built up and I used that water for her tank. She gets an attitude an says it's recommended to have the tank set up for 30 days. I tell her to have a good day because she obviously didn't listen to anything I said and we will never be returning. I'm sorry, but you shouldn't be able to be the store manager if you don't have knowledge of the pets you sell or how to properly take care of them.
We went to Petco at the Riva Festival. We gave the gentleman the same information we provided the PetSmart associate and we're able to make the purchase without. At the register we told him about what happened at PetSmart to which he replied "I can price match anything in the store to their prices, I'm the manager". He was so pleasant to deal with and even though he offered that, we will never take advantage of it. I highly recommend going to the Petco over PetSmart any day. Their staff is knowledgeable and better to deal with.

I hate leaving this 1 star review because 90% of our trips to this location have been pleasant. And my husband and I own 3 cats and make many trips. We just yesterday purchased $360 worth of fish product, for our new betta fish. This includes the tank and everything a fish could need. Today we came back to get a couple snails and a clown pleco. ( Max size 4in) The lady who walked over to "help" is was unenthusiastic when she asked if we needed anything. We responded yes please, her response was "are you actually purchasing something today? " We were a little taken aback but told her what we wanted. She then proceeded to tell us the recommended tank size for a clown pleco is 20gallons and refused to let us buy it because we only have a 10gallon tank. ( That we bought there yesterday) Meanwhile, the fish in question guess what size it and 30 other fish are living in????? A 10gallon tank.
In our opinion she was in a bad mood before she even walked over. And she didn't feel like doing any work! We put everything we had in our hands back and will not be returning!

So I wouldn’t think to review a Petsmart but this location made me want to leave one. This is the only Petsmart that I will shop at for my very picky kitties. They only want Fancy Feast and like lots of variety. This is the shop with extensive selection and everything is always well organized and super clean. Staff have been very kind and helpful as well. Come here!

Had my puppy groomed there.....was only given a bath and nail trim. Barely received a cut. Complete rip off and won't be going back.
