If I could give a no star I would. The pharmacist and his staff are literally the rudest people I have ever encountered. They hang up on you or answer the phone and directly place you on hold. When your asking a question they cut you off or literally just put you on hold, it’s like dealing with child. They filled my script from the same doctor but refused to fill the second one from the same doctor because they said the order writer wasn’t under my insurance but filled the other one. When I was simply trying to get an explanation all they did was yell at me or again place me on hold. You’re dealing with customers who need their medication. The lack of communication and customer service is horrible. When I spoke to the manager of the store she was just as bad. Couldn’t care said it’s okay for them to pick up and directly place you on hold. Karthlynn or Catherine was her name. I would highly recommend going to the pharmacy on Housley rd just save yourself the headache.

Is management awake? Are you proud of your store customer service? I choose Safeway online pickup & selected your store past several months. You have the WORST pickup service! I complained several months ago about your app not working properly as well as the phone number (410-897-2635) on the sign in the designated parking for pickup STILL says it is not "setup" - as of 12/3/24. It has been 4 months since I reported it to you. My last pickup - I waited 32 minutes & called 3x! I recd an email at 203pm advising mynorder was ready for pickup. I clicked on your "on my way" at 250pm. Most of your "designated" pickup parking is used by shoppers shopping inside your store! There was 1 spot available when I arrived. Annapolis has so many supermarkets to choose from. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT YOUR STORE AGAIN! Suggestion: Speak to the Manager of another local Safeway, who is far better organized
Perhaps they can provide some guidance.

They need to completely shut down, remodel, and upgrade, something. This Safeway bathroom is the pits of hell and consistently smells horrible. It’s so dreary.

I shopped here while staying in Annapolis for a few days. It was well-stocked, and had everything I needed. Clean store.

Just witnessed incredibly unprofessional behavior by a supposed manager toward an employee trying to respect the instructions they received from their department head. Will not be returning to this store!

Not worth the trouble to shop at. I am new to the area and had never been to a Safeway before and after two shopping trips will not be returning. The first time there was only one register open with a line, so I checked out in self checkout as it would be faster and it was empty. When I was almost done, I was told it is 15 items or less only for next time, okay no problem policy is policy. The 2nd time I headed to the register with a light on and there was nobody there nor in self checkout. We decided to go into the self checkout as there was not any employee s in sight. We got about a third of the way thru scanning, when the same employee who informed us of the policy last time came out and told us we had to get back in the register line. I understand it is policy, but I did not appreciate the employee insinuating that we were lying about nobody being upfront. If that is the policy , then the store needs to staff the front end accordingly. Despite of the product choices, prices and short distance, I will choose somewhere else to avoid the headache of checkout.

Zero never have vegetables or never have updated good fruit, never no one at customer service the store managers always walking around laughing with other workers or texting on phone the manager kierra is a rude smart woman and sadly it's no lines ever open I think they should shut this down it stinks and food is old

Used to love the Safeway on Forest Dr in Annapolis but they've changed and went down hill. Employees are not as friendly and they Mark up prices, was going to by my daughter a huge Teddy Bear for Christmas and the manufacturer price tag on it read $19.99 and Safeway put their own price tag on and it read $49.99. When I ask about their price being so marked up double. They just brushed me off. My daughter did take pictures and sent them to Corporate and their website but of course no real answers. They also have one pharmacist who is so rude, you can tell that she doesn't like working in this store as needed and she likes to talk down to people. I have reported her atleast 6 times. They do have 2 pharmacist there who are regulars and they're both phenomenal.
