SpringHill Suites by Marriott Annapolis is a nice hotel located about a ten-minute drive from Annapolis in a great area with a mall, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The hotel offers clean, spacious, and well-designed rooms with tall ceilings, a surprisingly huge walk-in closet, and a large, comfortable bathroom. Rooms feature a convenient little bar area with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee setup. The beds are super comfortable, and the AC works very well, though some guests note the heat can be inconsistent. The hotel is generally well-maintained, but some rooms have had maintenance issues like a shower that barely drains, a broken door lock, or a bumpy elevator. Parking is on property and costs around $9.50 to $10 per night, managed via a QR code for a third-party company, which some guests found unexpected. The hotel offers free breakfast, with waffles served only on weekends. Experiences with service vary significantly. Many staff members are described as very friendly, providing quick and easy check-in, with specific employees highlighted for being reliable, customer-focused, and bringing positive leadership. However, other experiences report sub-par service, including housekeeping not cleaning rooms, towels not being delivered due to shortages, and front desk staff unable to explain parking fees. Overall, while many guests have had a great stay and would return, others feel the service is inconsistent and not up to the expected Marriott standard.
Came here for a weekend getaway and was not disappointed, a small fitness space but adequate and not crowded. As a plant based person I will say breakfast was good and they even had a vegetarian sausage patty, oatmeal and oat milk as options.
