Hours: The Light House is a shelter providing help for those experiencing homelessness or facing it. It offers temporary housing and follows through with every aspect of its program to accomplish its goals. The shelter provides services including bag lunches during the week and hot meals on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. It also offers showers and laundry facilities, with an easy sign-up process. The staff and case managers are receptive, helpful, wonderful, and truly caring, never leaving people behind. They help with any number of services. The Light House also has an amazing restaurant program with delicious food. It is described as a unique, excellent, and wonderful place, making volunteers and the community feel very lucky to have it. The organization is seen as a vital and much-needed resource that approaches complicated societal issues with great care.
