I ordered a dishwasher on the Memorial Day sale. They neglected to tell me that their installers would find every excuse in the world to not install. I visited the store the Friday before to see if I needed any additional items for installation and was told by one of their staff that this is the usual behavior of installers. They stated that there was corrosion on my water valve where I could see none. They stated that the floor was not flush even though it would fit in the space per measurements that I carefully took. I'm going to think twice before ordering from them again. Disappointed.

I have tried for 3 days to get them on the phone, NO ANSWER! Today my husband and I went into the store to get an updated status on an installer coming to our house to measure for a new door, the sale goes off in a few days, installers they say can take a couple of weeks and sales associates say they're not sure if the sale price can be honored! We're not looking to buy a cheap door, this door is going to cost much more money than I want to give HD!!! Horrible customer service.

They will not give you your full purchase amount back if you pay partial gift card. Then tell you repeatedly there is “nothing” they can do. As if you will bend and take a merchandise card when your return is not even 1/4 of your order or exceed what I personally paid outside of the gift card. The item had to pick up at another store because it was not on hand or available to order. Even worse is the item looked nothing like the picture that was posted. I will not come back here and will seriously rethink shopping at Home Depot. Shady business practices.

I'm not the most talented at DIY, but I always find what I need here for basic home repair. I also like their garden shop and lighting department for upgrading my surroundings a bit.

The garden center is infested with rats. I pulled something off the shelf and 3 rats scattered. There is rat feces everywhere. I get that this is partial outdoors but to have dozens of rats in the products is a major health issue. Prices are ok. Definitely beats going to the Bowie location.

Customer service in the store has significantly improved. Phone customer support is horrendous. I could drive to the store and go to the front desk faster than getting someone one the phone. And that's at least 25 minutes. Even called on a 2nd line. I guess I will try an alternate method. Chat.

This business does not enforce mask wearing. The county had a mask mandate go into effect (again) recently. It was annoying today seeing so many customers maskless while shopping. Frankly IDC how you feel about masks, just follow the damn rules

Quite possibly the worst customer service ever. After trying to buy dishwasher online I relented and went to store. Took an hour to find one in stock. We had our hands on it, I paid for it, delivery and install scheduled for 2 days out. Phone call--sorry your item is not in stock should be in by December 23. They had sold my item to someone else. Called for manager. Finally got one. He will call me back. No dishwasher, week or more to get my money back, still waiting on manager. I will NEVER set foot in this store again.

I can't say enough about how great Tatiana was. I needed assistance and she was fantastic. She got my Italian last name correct, and even assisted me checking out with a home depot credit card payment. Such a wonderful associate. I hope they keep her around, best help I've had in a long time there.

No Star NONE!! I was forced to put one. Purchased washing machine and warranty from Home Depot, Defense drive, Annapolis md, paid cash. Two weeks later still waiting for delivery. The store put the wrong delivery address in the system and although I have spoken to a number of people including the store manager, person who sold me washer and managers as well as employees of delivery service the address has never been updated in the delivery's books so once again i am told they will try again. NO THANKS. You can't make a delivery what does that say about your warranty insurance. Spoke to Managers: Abe and Joe then the delivery service: Marsha, Levi, Darlynn all of whom said they checked the delivery address and assure me that the problem was corrected. DON'T waste your time at Home Depot to purchase appliances Service is poor. NO problem with Best Buy.

You can do it....we can help :) They lived up to that. I visit this home depot for lots of things and I must say they are extremely helpful. There are minor things like patching a hole, sealing a window seal, or assisting with ant killer or lawn seeding. Then there are major things (major to me) like replacing blinds - what brought me here now. I am sometimes not sure I can do it but they walk me through and they have youtube videos!! I was looking for blinds because mine literally separated and fell apart. I wasn't sure just looking for a replacement. Well, tje staff was patient. The lady that assisted me sat hours with me as we poured through the books and online. I really should have researched. I was impressed with the blinds on display. I decided (after hours) on day/night shades. She never complained and wasn't forceful. We came up with color scheme (something that will ultimately match the tile I will be installing on the main wall). We ordered them - custom order would take 3 weeks. Home Depot has a military discount (and I support stores that have one, Lowe's take you through too much for 10% - Home Depot is easy peasy). In less than 3 weeks, my blinds arrived in the mail. Nicely packaged and well maintained (not a scratch or dent). The hardware was separated and labeled. I watched the install video and in about 30 minutes - 45 minutes (because I couldn't figure out the snap :) ) I was done and had new blinds!

My husband and I went to this particular Home Depot to purchase a washer and dryer set. I had already done the research online so I knew exactly which ones I wanted and that they were in the store. Despite having to search for several minutes to find an associate to assist us, he told us he would call for someone, but no one ever came. Meanwhile, he helped several customers after us in the same department while we waited with no help at all. My husband is Asian and I am disabled. While I cannot say with certainty that either of those facts played into this associate not helping us, it certainly is curious. We ended up leaving after several more minutes and no help and made our purchase of a high and washer and dryer set elsewhere. I feel comfortable spending my money at a different store that values my patronage. Are usually only post positive reviews so this is not some thing I do lately; however, the impression that my husband and I were last with was not a positive one. You might be well served to ensure that your associates are trained in equal opportunity customer service and how to avoid acting in a manner that could be perceived as discriminatory. For what it's worth... The store as a whole was not at all busy and they seemed very adequately staffed. Rest assured these are things that we take into consideration.
