Bruce was beyond awesome. My husband and I went in with little expectation in mind of what we even wanted. Bruce was so helpful and kind. The safety of my family in our vehicle is top priority, and he really took his time with us. We absolutely love our new purchase and will be coming back in the future. Thank you Bruce !! and thank you Volvo of Annapolis.

Sales Manager Bruce is always happy to help with any of my questions or concerns. I always refer them to my friends who are interested in Volvos or quality used cars. 10/10 service and super professional. They have a customer for life in me.

I scheduled an appointment for a battery replacement and called prior to arriving at the dealership to ensure they had my battery in stock. They assured me the battery was in-stock and my appointment for installation was confirmed. Guess what, the battery wasn't in stock upon arrival BUT that's not the only issue. To recap: I drove 87 miles out of my way to have a Volvo battery installed where I get service. What makes this situation so bad is the level of incompetence from various people at the dealership. When I arrived, the service advisory stated it would take 1 hour and 20 minutes to swap the battery. My vehicle went into the shop, and then after 1 hour in the "back," they told me they sold the battery to someone else. Yes, sold the battery!! How in the world do you sell someone's battery, AND it takes you over an hour to figure it out. Now, that was a 'wow' moment for me. I still can not translate that in my head. And based on my conversations this seems like a normal occurrence. I would like to note this visit was not the 1st visit with a wow moment, but it will be the last. The dealership had the car in the shop for one hour and REFUSED to provide paperwork for the visit. Yet they acknowledged they worked on the car! I asked and emailed on several occasions for this paperwork and was denied. That itself is questionable and unprofessional. At a later point, I asked for the service manager's email address. They couldn't even get that correct. Even after I questioned the accuracy of the email address due to the spelling the representative at the dealership was confident in her response. After having the email bounce back, she provided another email address. I also asked her to let the service manager know that I was sending him an email and that would like a call back. Due the lack of responsiveness I called back late the next day, and a new receptionist took the message. She wasn't surprised by the lack of knowledge of the prior agent. When the other people at your job recognize the lack of competence around them, customers don't want to have their cars fixed at those shops. At the end of the day, all the service advisor and service manager could say was "Sorry." Well, in my head: Sorry is a board game, not a resolution. When things are done right or you rectified your mistakes, there really is no need for sorry.I wasted 4 hours of my day, had unnecessary wear and tear on my vehicle, and used several gallons of gas due to this eventful visit. All the dealership could say was sorry. They made an error, a very preventable error which could have been also been rectified. I was also lied to and mislead so in mind they lack integrity as well.Knowing how people work, they will reply here saying I can drive back down and get a new battery. I want to skip that step...Would you go to a shop which confirms, but doesn't really have your parts for a prescheduled appointment? Would you go to a shop that says they worked on your car, but won't give you paperwork? Would you go to a shop where employees admit to others being incompetent? Would you go to a shop that takes 1 hour to discover they don't have the battery for a battery replacement service?I wouldn't and these are thoughts from just one visit. I have experienced other issues at this dealership, but companies need a chance to rectify their mistakes.I am writing this review because they have yet to reply to my resolution, provide me paperwork for my visit or compensate me for my time and gas due to their carelessness and lack of customer service.

We bought our xc90 6 months ago from a different Volvo dealer. With timing and convenience, being due for our very first routine maintenance since we’ve had our car, Annapolis Volvo is the location we chose to do this service. Once I scheduled our initial appointment I had to call to see if we could get in sooner due to a leak in a tire. It seemed very impossible to get confirmation on moving the appointment. Everyone I spoke with besides Michelle, seemed very clueless. Being only 6 months with the vehicle, there was not any promising on fixing the leak in the tire. I ended up plugging the leak before I even brought it in.The day we brought it in for an oil change and tire rotation I told them I would be there to wait. There was absolutely no communication during the 4 hours I waited for my car. I reached out to Michelle on the status after the 4 hour mark and she said it would be done shortly. 20 minutes later I notice my car parked on the side of the building. I waited in the service department for another 20 minutes with not one Volvo worker in sight.I finally found a gentleman who handed over my keys.Once I got the car home I noticed fluid leaking in the driveway and sticky splatter all over the back side of the car. The next morning my sensors went off for every tire. I called Volvo, spoke with Michelle and she asked me to bring it back in. We drop the car back off and I hear nothing after 5 hours. I reach out through text because it’s impossible to get ahold of them by phone, Michelle tells me there’s nothing wrong with the car, the sensors went off bc it was cold outside.I pick up the vehicle, drive it home, the next morning there’s another puddle of fluid on the driveway, there is splatter all over the back rear tire and car side, and my car alarms me that there is no break fluid. We have never had any issues like this until we brought the car to this place. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this car mechanically until we brought it there. All they needed to do was change the oil and rotate the tires since we plugged the tire ourselves. The mechanics had to do a routine most basic service and they have managed to make a complete mess. There is an obvious leak that was done on their part and it was completely missed even with a second overlook. The lack thereof customer service and communication is very disheartening. I loved this car. I thought going more luxurious in a vehicle meant the service went along with that too. We had exceptional service from the dealer we purchased this car from. And even though the drive is not convenient, their company, kindness, truthfulness, and passion to strive for excellent customer service and mechanical service makes the drive much more worth it.I do not recommend taking your Volvo here for service. There will be more money spent and way more of your time than you initially thought.

Bought my wife's 2017, Volvo XC 90 T-8 with Excellence package at this dealership. The sales portion went very well but I was conned into buying a $10,000 special bumper-to-bumper warranty aftermarket product by the sales manager. It covered everything except for tires brakes oil change, and usual wear and tear items which I thought was acceptable. Recently I had a windshield issue where the seals failed and water poured into the car. I brought it to my local Volvo dealership and had it repaired but this warranty would not cover that. Apparently it covers virtually nothing and it was a total $10,000 rip off. If you purchase a vehicle here, do not buy any aftermarket products from these people. They are all crooks. I have called repeatedly and gotten no response. They don't care. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy a Volvo here, it's probably as good as any other dealership, but I would never buy any aftermarket insurance or other products from these people.

I had the misfortune of a major malfunction in my 2015xc60. The car was towed to Volvo cars of Annapolis as it was the closest dealer.5 weeks after waiting with very little communication from the service rep Michele (I made the effort to contact her) I get my car. After driving 45 minutes, it has the same problem again!!!! Another tow, and 3 weeks later I get the car back. Of course there is a charge for each service episode. Meanwhile there are no loaner cars and no prospects to ever have one.The poor communication, the long wait to have transportation, and having to go back again have now tainted my confidence in owning this car. By reputation I thought I had a good quality vehicle. Actually I still believe I do. Sadly though, Volvo cars of Annapolis doesn't at all represent exceptional service; it is quite the opposite. There was no explanation about delays, about charging me the second time for service, and never did anyone explain to me just what was wrong.Shame on this profound absence of commitment to provide quality service from a company that allegedly prides themselves to provide exceptional service.Exceptionally bad service is what I was given.

We rented an electric Volvo and could not get it to charge. This dealership went the extra mile to get our car charged so we could get to the airport and not miss our flight. Their level of customer service was extraordinary. Thank you!

Great buying experience, but management is non-responsive and don't trust the service with anything but the basics. Our XC-90 was taken to a nearby collision center after being hit quite hard while parked. This location ordered/received the wrong bumper 3 times, and missed three major issues that delayed us months, had to be caught by the collision shop and should have resulted in the vehicle being totaled. The biggest one is that they missed that the subframe was bent, despite the rear axle being visibly out of alignment. It was up to the collision shop to identify the issue and send it back to them.Throughout this, we reached out to the GM twice, and the collision shop (their largest wholesale parts purchaser) did so once on our behalf with zero response. All we did get was attempts to sell us another vehicle and a trade-in offer at market.

My experience at Volvo of Annapolis was nothing short of outstanding from the moment I pulled into the parking lot to the moment that I drove away in my new car. Christian, Bruce, Michael, Devin and Corey are a great team and ensured a smooth process end to end. I can't thank the team at Annapolis Volvo enough. I am very happy with my new vehicle and was very impressed with the overall process.

Friendly service staff and very helpful. I have been bringing my Volvo here for its regular maintenance ever since I purchased it in 2020. Ive also had options installed and they do a great job every time. They recently replaced a cracked sunroof and panoramic glass for me and did a fantastic job.
