Unacceptable experience with an exchange. We recieved a very expensive silver platter as a gift for a wedding, which we realized was damaged as soon as it was opened. We did not open it right away as we were in the middle of a move. We were told it could not be returned without a receipt. This was a gift so we did not have a receipt, and we were also not returning, simply asking for an exchange for the same item that is undamaged. Very disappointing experience as we have been loyal shoppers at William Sonoma, and will no longer be shopping here.

I got a great deal on an air fryer for black Friday from WS. A full week later, I get an email saying that they won't be able to get me that air fryer, but there's another model they're going to automatically send me if I don't respond and here's it's serial number. After some work I found the substitute model, which retails for 60% the cost of what I had bought. And get this, the original model I wanted is still on sale and stocked online but is going for $100 more! And get THIS, when I responded to the email it came back as undeliverable! Beyond being an obviously illegal advertising fraud, it's just a shameful dishonest way for a business to operate. There are other retailers that can sell you the same brands... Why do business with crooks? I'm going to enjoy reporting them to the consumer scams enforcement division at the state DoJ!!

I ordered a tea box with glass cups for my mother for Christmas. I knew it would be late but it came a month late! And the glasses were shattered giving my mother a painful surprise as she threw out the glass and salvaged the tins. I was not given a refund by Martha at customer service because my poor mother did not photograph the shattered sharp edged glass! Absolutely horrific customer service!

Williams and Sonoma is one of my youngest daughter store, while in Maryland for the Christmas holidays my wife and I shopped at the one in Annapolis Maryland the people or employees there were excellent, when I go back to Maryland this will be the store I will shop at, my daughter have good taste in stores.
