I love universal comics!!!! I enjoy Brent and Chris they provide a great professional and very friendly atmosphere! On top of that very helpful with any comic questions and Chris’ picks of the week are a highlight. Come on in and see for yourself.

Fantastic selections, great organization and use of space, which really helps you find what you want and even see some new gems. The customer service is some of the absolute best and have helped me out many times. A great place to go for any comic enjoyer!

We love this place! This is a very well kept and clean shop with super nice staff. Best of all, the staff are very good and accepting of kids, even offering for them to stay a while and read the books. My kids and I are just starting to visit regularly and plan to continue to do so!

This is the perfect neighborhood shop. The way they utilize every inch of a small space to astound the senses with new comics, back issues, trades, hardcovers, toys, and statues is something to behold. It's also the cleanest comic shop I've ever been in, and I've been in a lot of comic shops. The employees are passionate, well-versed, and great to talk to about pretty much anything. They provide a discount to subscribers, and ordering for the weekly Final Order Cutoff is an easy process. Support your local comic book store, folks. Very nice shop, some of the friendliest people working there. I learned that they are the oldest comic book shop still open in Maryland, and have had a few different owners. Worth the trip!

The two gentlemen were very helpful and polite. They were of course incredibly knowledgeable about the comics and what might (or might not) be appropriate for students. They not only recommended some comics but pulled a bunch of awesome ones for me to look at- thank you so much!

A small shop, but lots of great selections. This is the place to go for purchasing single issue comics. They even sell bundled complete runs, which is great for someone like me, who has a hard time figuring out how to collect a series (except for when they are published later as graphic novels). They have a small, very friendly dog at the store; if he bothers you, they are happy to get him out of your way. (I have issues with dogs in general and am often frightened by them or repelled by their odor and/or slobber, but this dog was fine for me.) I spent a good chunk of money here and plan to go back.

I went here looking for silver age comics. While they had many comics of more recent vintage, they didn't appear to have any substantial amount of older comics. The prices I saw were a bit on the higher side but not outrageous. I think there's a benefit to being able to examine comics by hand rather than trust ebay descriptions. Friendly staff and an interesting basement with a wide assortment of less well known comics. Worth a visit if you are interested in more recent issues.

Be been here on two separate occasions. First time they dragged their feet on ordering a comic that I paid for. To the point that I asked for a refund. This was 3 years ago. My second visit. I am greeted by noone. With the exception of the great pooch that s there. Bottom line their customer service is trash. Almost feels racially based.

This store was always great to go to when I lived nearby. The employees were nice and always up for a conversation. If I asked for them to order a comic I wanted, it might take 2-3 weeks for them to get it but they always eventually had it waiting for me! Great place

I absolutely adore this shop! My only regret is not visiting them sooner. The owner has a ton of comic book knowledge and is very kind. I talked to an employee, Leo, for a good half an hour about Batman and it was great to have a place to be a nerd. I'll be coming back a lot more!
