Not very helpful at all, they are supposed to have battery testing/charging but if you go in there they'll tell you it's down to avoid having to do it. Then sold me a jump starter that didn't work for my vehicle. One of the worst ones in the city

This place deserves 0 stars. The staff is extremely unhelpful, unprofessional, and rude. I called at 3:37 pm and asked if they had a battery for my 2017 Honda Accord in stock. The man on the phone looked it up in the system said they have it so I said I’ll be in 20-30 min. He said he would set one aside for when I get there. I arrived around 4:00pm and they said they never spoke to anyone about a battery so they looked up the car in the system and found the correct battery. Left the counter for about 5 min then came back and said they do not have that battery in stock. I asked how that was possible when I just talked to them 30 min ago. They once again said they never spoke to me and that I must have called another store. I pulled out my phone and showed them I called the store at 3:37pm. They said they couldn’t tell if the number was for this store. I dialed it again in front of them and their phone rang, which proved I spoke to someone at this store. They just looked at me and said they can’t do anything so I had to leave.
Why would they tell me on the phone they have the battery in stock and then 30 min later tell me I never called them and they don’t have the battery in stock when I can see it come up on their computer as in stock? This is unbelievable incompetence. I’ve met smarter goldfish than any of the staff they had working here today. How can Advanced Auto be ok with this level of customer service in their stores?

I took my car up to get the battery replaced. The person at the desk asked me the make and model and selected the battery. They replaced my battery, but didn’t seem to know what they were doing. When they finally replaced it, they asked for me to start the car and it wouldn’t work - my keys were stuck in the ignition. Instead of acknowledging that maybe they didn’t hook up the battery properly, they tried to blame it on my car keys. One of them attempted to do a dry turn with my wheel while twisting the keys to get it out. They ended giving up and abandoning me with my car. When I went in to complain, they told me they could replace my old battery and return it. I asked for them to do so, but when it was replaced the manager refused the return as it would “make him look bad”. Finally I gave up, called for someone to jump me since they refused and got my car started with my old battery. When the car started, the “Service Power Steering” light came on, so they likely damaged my power steering during this failure of a battery replacement. Now I’m stuck with this battery that doesn’t work for my car and a damaged vehicle that needs serviced

They were close. Ok I'm so sorry for that review. We came to Advance Auto Parts after we stopped at Standard who was closed. I'm so sorry for the confusion. I deal with your company quite a bit. That was a rushing mistake.
