I’ve been coming here for years (since the 2010s) because she really is one of the few, best braiders I’ve experienced. My braids are always neat and they LAST. She is also extremely accommodating.

Let me start by saying the owner is very nice and accommodating. I called ahead of time to secure a spot. I waited about an hour before the lady who was doing my hair got there. I DO love the braids, the size and the neatness. I would have just brought my own boho hair cause I think it is a synthetic blend if you're into that cool, but it makes me itch. Overall the experience was nice and I WILL go again

I had an amazing experience at African Braiding Parlor! I used to come here years ago, and walking back in felt just like old times so warm and welcoming. The owner actually remembered me, and we had a great conversation that made the whole experience even more special.
I asked for long box braids, and both the owner and her sister did my hair. They were super fast, efficient, and executed exactly what I asked for. I was a walk-in and even came a little late, but they still got me in without hesitation.
The shop has this dope 90’s nostalgic vibe that I absolutely love. It was an easy and affordable transaction, and I left feeling confident and cared for. I highly recommend African Braiding Parlor 10/10. I’ll definitely be back!
