More than a hole in the wall, not as static and Corporate as Starbucks, every one working there is wonderful. Excellent coffee and food. Feels like home.

Originally intrigued by the amount of Vegetarian options, but was unfortunately disappointed with the quality of food. The chili and Macaroni and cheese felt microwaved since it wasn’t evenly warmed (bottom was cold, while the top was hot). Admittedly I didn’t try the coffee, but there was a “Best Buy” date sticker found inside my Mac and cheese. The staff did offer to replace it, but by then my appetite was gone. The “baby’s on Fire” panini was also a bit of a disappointment (lacked flavor and was a bit bland). The spinach and feta puff pastry was good but served at room temperature. Most other patrons seemed to be enjoying coffee so maybe next time I’ll try their drinks instead.

Such a cute, fun cafe! The decor is great and there are records available for purchase. Coffee and pastry hit the spot!

Great little coffee shop. Good food and great coffee. Has a great local atmosphere and you can pick up some records as well.

This has been on my list to try for a while. I loved the Mocha latte — one of the best coffees I’ve had in Baltimore. I was not a fan of the food (the breakfast sandwich) or the pastry (coconut bread). Maybe it was because it was almost closing time, idk. But I would give it another chance. I do like their variety of food that accommodates lots of dietary restrictions.

What a cool and relaxing vibe. I had a chai and it was the BEST I’ve had in a long time. They have vegan options -I want to try the mac and cheese. Highly

Loved it, great little cafe with a very chill atmosphere. Friendly and patient staff. A large amount of vegan options which is always appreciated.Vegetarian options: I can't speak to everything, but I had a vegan egg and cheese bagel sandwich that was amazing.

The location is kind of hidden on a side street that resembles and alley way. Inside was small and cozy. Loved the decorations.I ordered the Starlight Mint Mocha with a plain croissant. Both were pretty good. My BF and I shared a panini and the Monthly Mac and Cheese. This month's flavor is everything bagel, not really a good flavor for Mac and Cheese, didn't like it. The Panini was HORRIBLE. It was given to us with the bread completely CHARRED. I can't believe they served that to us. We couldn't eat more than a few bites. Spent $12 on it and ended up throwing it all out. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but we will not be coming back.

Baby's on Fire is a welcoming coffee shop in the Mt Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore. They serve coffee drinks and a variety of food items that go well with coffee. The staff are genuine and very friendly. To top it off, they also have a nice selection of vinyl for sale. Their records span a number of genres and include both new and used items. A great place to find a moment of calm.

This cafe was hidden and appeared at first sight to be a hole in the wall. That is what initially made it attractive because these are the places that always have good heart, atmosphere, and food. My wife and I came here to enjoy a good vegan breakfast sandwich and warm cup of latte. The menu was a bit misleading to us because it only mentioned they served a vegan sandwich with the only component being a vegan folded egg however after talking to the barista she told us the sandwich had an option to add seitan sausage with vegan cheez. Our eyes lit up and we both ordered the sandwich. We also were told that they served nondairy lattes and other coffees. The mocha and a maple based latte was ordered. When we got the sandwiches we were amazed by how they look and that the bagel wasn't overly cooked and hard. These sandwiches tasted amazing and my wife now wants to figure out how they made them. The sandwiches had great flavor and definitely well worth the money. The lattes were great too. We will definitely be recommending and coming back here in the future.

Coffee was average and service was slow. Suprised because there were very few customers there at the time.

Cute shop with a good selection. Vegan options, gluten free options. I liked the oatchata cold brew. The cold brew gave the coffee a nice chocolatey-ness ?

This was a terrific spot for breakfast. It's located on a side street, almost with the vibes of an alley, so sitting outside was wonderfully quiet and laid back. Service was attentive - making sure to get all the details right, and even though it's an order-at-the-counter establishment, they happily delivered straggler items to our table outside.Since I was visiting from the west coast, where decent bagels are few and far between, my everything bagel breakfast sandwich was the highlight for me. The eggs were both fluffy, and sturdy enough to hold together when eating.I had time, while my coffee was brewing, to browse the vinyl selection of this café/record store. Combined with the 1970s era rock photos on the walls, this was far and away the most pleasant coffee shop I can recall visiting.
