DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT order from them especially if you have a deadline aka like a wedding where you are the groom. Timeline promised was 6-8 weeks. No communication what so ever during the 6-8th week. No one has any idea where the suit even was. 9th week came, wedding in 2 days - the suit was still no where to be found and no one is owning up to it. No refund. Only a 20% discount offered, what a slap in the face. Shame on you for how you treat your customer. No one should ever experience the stress this store put my family through.

Best place hands down. I tell everyone. If you need a suit, and especially if you want a safe and affirming place with AMAZING suits- go here. My partner’s suit couldn’t have been more perfect for our wedding and Chase is the absolute best. Can’t say it enough- go here!!

Chase was very kind and that’s about the best I can say about Baltimore Custom Clothiers. I was initially told I’d receive my suits, pants and shirts within 6-8 weeks. Almost 4 months later they finally arrived but none of the items fit right. The coats were the worst part. They fit well in the back and shoulders but the fronts were 3+” too big. The shirt collars were all too big and had incorrect initials monogrammed on the sleeves. To their credit they offered to redo and have everything to me in 3 weeks. 5 weeks later they arrived and now the coats are to tight in the back and almost perfect in the front except where they bunch up in the front of the shoulders. I asked for a refund and was told they didn’t normally do refunds but offered a $1,000 dollars back to me which is well short of the $2,754 dollars that I paid. It’s been 2 days and I have not heard anything further about the refund. If I get the refund I will have basically paid $1,754 for a pair of pants and 4 shirts. I went to these people to get a couple of good fitting suits and never complained about the price because I thought I would be paying for excellence. The suits are absolutely useless to me and I feel the $1,000. refund is an absolute slap in the face but I suppose that is all I may get. After dealing with this for almost 6 months I have had enough! If I were to run my business like this I doubt I’d be in business long. If you’re looking for a suit I would recommend buying one from JCP as I feel you’d get a better fit.**Udate 4/5/23:I finally got an email from Joe at Baltimore Custom Clothiers today offering to mail my $1,000 refund after I signed the attached document which basically said I would not say anything disparaging against their company. Not good enough Joe; I cannot be bought and didn’t appreciate the fact you thought I could be. Keep the money as you apparently need it far more than I do. I also own a small business and I know how every penny counts. More importantly I understand the value of doing whatever is needed to insure the customer is satisfied. You might want to consider that when you deal with unhappy customers as it goes much further in customer satisfaction than trying to buy their silence. I WILL TAKE THE HOSING THAT YOU FEEL IS APPROPRIATE AND WILL SIMPLY ORDER MY SUITS FROM A MORE REPUTABLE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED COMPANY.

Chase did an amazing job on the suit for my wedding. I was looking for a specific shade of burgundy and she had just what I was looking for at a very affordable and competitive price for a custom suit. I received tons of compliments on it. I would use Chase again for custom clothing in the future.

Although my good friend recommended this place to me and I value her opinions very much, I was left disappointed in the overall service and experience.08/11 - I called to confirm if BCC would be able to deliver a custom suit + shirt within 4 weeks as I had a wedding on 09/24. Confirmed.08/13 - Suit fitting @ Water Street. Great service!09/13 - Sent an email requesting a status update on the suit as the wedding date was quickly approaching. Chase confirms to come in on 09/21 @ 2PM.09/20 - Receive an email from Chase requesting a call. The suit had not yet arrived from China and was stuck at JFK Customs.09/21 - Status update request - suit has not moved.09/23 - Suit has not arrived. Partial refund offered. Revised anticipated arrival date request.09/27 - Suit "sent back to Hong Kong for an unknown reason. It will need to be sent back to US." Arrival date unknown.09/30 - "Suit should be in this week." Confirmed to come in on 10/08 at 1PM for final fitting.10/08 12PM (1hr prior to meeting) - Note: I live in Arlington, VA, an hour from Baltimore. I was in the car on my way to Baltimore. Receive an email from Chase - The suit was in Baltimore, but had not yet been delivered. Delivery time is unknown and she is now unavailable to the remainder of the day. Reschedule for 10/11.10/11 - Shirt fits great! Suit is nice, although the pants need to be tapered and suspender buttons sewn in. Chase confirms that she will have this completed by 10/14. I will come back in to pick up adjusted suit on 10/19.10/19 - I try on the pants to confirm I am satisfied with the adjustments. It was to my disappointment to find that the suit had not been adjusted as requested during our previous meeting. It was a sad attempt to deceive me. While I did not call her out individually, I noted that the pants needed to be tapered "again," however I had another wedding on 10/21 in MN which meant I needed to take the suit with me regardless . She informed me that I could take the suit and she would send me a pre-paid label to send her the pants when I returned to get them adjusted.10/25 - I emailed Chase to request the pre-paid shipping label. She calls to tell me that it would be more cost efficient to get the pants tailored at an alternate location vs sending it back to her for the adjustments. She provided a few googled locations in my zip code.11/04 - I emailed Chase the receipt of the cost for the additional tailoring - taper the pants and resew the poorly sewn (see photo attached) buttons. $28 total.11/09 - Follow up on the refund for the additional tailoring as I had checked my account for the amount. Not there.11/10 10:41AM - Chase leaves me a voicemail indicating that the refund was submitted and should have already been received as of 11/08.10:42AM - I receive a text confirming the refund.This was certainly a journey and level of service + communication I did not anticipate given the $1200 custom suit price tag, but was ultimately deeply disappointed in.Between the fact that...1. The suits are not made locally, rather measurements sent to China to be made and sent to BCC as their own.2. The lack of communication during the entire process.3. The delivery of the suit not made as promised.4. The obvious deceit in regards to the additional pant alternations. It is my belief that Chase does not make any alternations herself, rather they are made by a local 3rd party.5. The uncalled for laughter in the voicemail, while the refund was already 4 days late.I simply cannot refer BCC to anyone at this time. I hope this is a lesson that it has work to do to provide a better experience and deliver on their promises in the future.

Baltimore Custom Clothiers is simply the best. Chase exudes friendliness and professionalism. The entire experience, from fitting to the final product, is world class. I cannot recommend a custom suit experience at a more reasonable price.

Outstanding clothier! Chase does a superb job at measuring and making sure your suit fits perfectly. After a sister branch in another location went out of business and left me hanging, Baltimore Custom stepped in and generously ensured I was taken care of. Thank you! It's worth the drive up from DC!!

All I can really say is, "Wow!" Chase made my suit buying process incredibly easy and comfortable. This place is super LGBT+ friendly. As a woman, buying formal, masculine style clothes has been such an anxiety-inducer for me in the past. Chase walked me through the entire process (getting me measured, assisting in picking out options, getting the suit tailored) and I could not be more happy with the result. This place and Chase should absolutely be your number stop for custom suit needs!!

Update 7/15/21 the shirt came and it is perfect. After everything, I am pleased that it came and is a perfect fit. I am so pleased they found my shirt. Thanks to Chase who was outstanding throughout the process.

Worked with Chase for my wedding in the fall of 2019 and forgot to leave a review. I don't see how anyone could provide a better experience and product than I got. Hopefully Baltimore Custom Clothiers reopens after this varus has done its thing. Lotsa people gonna need suits. Including me! Cheers

Chase was great!!! The communication and patience during this pandemic has been amazing. When you come in she lays everything out for you to bring your vision to life. The finished product will be better than your expectations, trust me you won't be disappointed at all. I'm still in shock for how good my tux looks and fits.I will be referring everybody to her and she will be who I go to for all my suit and tux needs!!!

Chase was great!!!! The communication and patience during this pandemic has been amazing!!! When you come in she shows you so many options to bring your vision to life.
