Visited Lighthouse Canton while in Baltimore — just a quick 10-min drive from my hotel. The place is clean, well-organized, and has an amazing selection of wine, beer, and spirits. I had a great chat with the store manager/owner, Richard, who helped me discover a new tequila right on the spot. Super helpful and friendly! Walked out happy with a bottle in hand. Would definitely come back. Cheers from Canada!

Held a birthday party for 50 people for my partner on the patio. Caila and Cindy did an excellent job. The French-themed food and drink specials were amazing. I highly recommend Lighthouse Canton for parties and everything else.

Amazing liquor store/neighborhood bar/cafe. Kudos to the kitchen staff- they are efficient and make yummy fresh food. Kudos to the wine buyer- wonderfully eclectic selection - something for everyone. All at a fair price point. One thing to note. The manager (older white guy) sits at a 6 top, working on his computer, and seems like another customer until he doesn’t like something and jumps up. A bit creepy, but just ignore him, it’s worth it for this neighborhood gem.

They always have a sandwich for whichever craving I’m having. I’ve had the Italian sub, Cali club (favorite), chipotle turkey, blackened chicken. The bread is always great, vegan cheeses have a subtle taste, and vegan meats that I sometime think are real!(theyre vegan).
Great alcohol selection too. Can’t find a better shop in Baltimore.

5 Stars – Favorite Spot in Canton
Lighthouse Liquors is hands-down one of the best spots in Baltimore. It’s got that perfect mix of laid-back and lively—great people and an energy that just makes you want to stay awhile. Whether you’re meeting friends, on a date, or just rolling solo, it always feels like the right call.
The food is solid every time, and the wine selection is honestly one of the best in the city. Super curated but never pretentious—you can find funky natural bottles, classic reds, chill whites, and everything in between. If you don’t know what you’re in the mood for, they’ll help you find something perfect without the wine snob attitude.
The whole staff is awesome—friendly, welcoming, and on it—but Caila, the girl behind the bar, deserves a special shoutout. She’s the kind of person who remembers your name, gives great recs, and somehow always makes the place feel even more inviting. She’s a total gem.
Lighthouse isn’t just a bar or a shop—it’s a vibe. Can’t recommend it enough.

This is a tough review to write because our experiences here have been a real mixed bag. First, the good: the alcohol selection is fantastic, and the food, particularly the vegetarian options, is genuinely great. We've also had wonderful interactions with two specific staff members: the friendly woman who does the wine tasting (I can't recall her name!) and the guy with the moustache behind the bar (there are 2 but one of them is nice). They truly understand hospitality.
However, our most recent visit yesterday was the final straw and means we won't be returning. As a pescatarian, I've appreciated their veggie options. I simply asked to swap chicken for prawns in a salad, something the restaurant has accommodated in the past. The girl behind the bar immediately stood with her arms crossed and bluntly said, 'No, we don't do substitutions.' When I mentioned past experiences, she smirked and said, 'Well, I can ask but they will say no.' What truly bothered me was that the manager was clearly observing this exchange and did absolutely nothing. My husband and I felt incredibly awkward and ended up leaving, embarrassed and irritated.
What should have happened is a simple 'Let me check, and if you want prawns, we'd be happy to add them for an extra $2-3.' We would have gladly paid! This isn't the first time we've felt unwelcome. We've spent over $500 at this establishment since moving here on April 1, and not once has the manager, who always seems to be at his computer at a 6-seater table, greeted us warmly or even acknowledged our repeated visits (it's not a large place!). It's truly a shame because the kitchen is clearly talented, but the lack of welcoming atmosphere, stemming from what appears to be poor management, makes this place feel unwelcoming. We're looking forward to trying Pusser's when it opens and will be sending our friends there instead

I never caught her name but the store employees in general here are so nice. The one who helped me easily pointed me in the right direction, gave me a recommendation and I was in and out just like that. Definitely coming back!

Wow. What a great place for a few drinks and grabbing your favorite alcohol too. Tons of choices is rare beers.
Mark and Josh were especially helpful and welcoming. Can't wait to go back as the weather improves

For many reasons, this is the most epic liquor store of all time. Phenomenal craft beer, whiskey, and wine selection. They have a wine tasting bar, a whiskey tasting bar, a craft draft beer bar, and an outdoor patio... WITH A BAR. You just can't not like this place. Cheers

Beer & alcohol selection is okay. Cigars selection is minimal. Couple good cigars yet bad kept, humidor is useless. Cigars burn bad. I guess watch out for the manager, white hair dude sitting on the table, if you aren’t white you’ll get the side eye and “ what can I hell you with” question more than once

Three stars because I’m a neighbor & usually don’t have any issues, but tonight’s interaction rubbed me the wrong way completely. I attempted to purchase a bottle of wine around 8:50 pm & was told that the cashier’s counterparts had already done the cash drop & if I wasn’t paying with a card, I could not be served. Although I find that to be an extremely bad business practice, as you’re missing out on sales, it was the flippancy of the employees “oh we didn’t do the cash drop THAT early” & a general “sucks to suck” disposition upon my slightly visible disappointment, I would much rather get in the car & drive to canton crossing than deal with people with attitudes simply because they’re working retail.
