They filled my tires for free while I waited. I have a new EV and haven't been there in a while, but they did it, no questions asked. Very accommodating and nice!

I'm new to Maryland, and I was a little nervous to hear about how rigorous the state inspection is here. The guys at AutoStream did a great job, walked me through all the details of the inspection, and were very honest and informative with me when I asked about some of the recommended maintenance that came up in the report. Kudos to Dantrell (sp?), Stu, and Dave!

The customer service is more than enough to earn ACCC 5 stars. I dropped my car off for an inspection and they maintained great communication with me throughout the process, ending with me passing the inspection. Much thanks to you all.

Only went for a routine oil change, but the gentleman that helped me were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They communicated very well with updates on my service. The digital inspection they provided was good to have done to stay informed on my car health and to know what I might want to have fixed the next time I come back.Service: Oil change

Constant attempts at up-selling with unnecessary maintenance and repair. I have taken my cars in a few times and I'm done with the dishonest business practices. The latest was an attempt to sell me a fuel induction service. This is almost never needed, especially on a car with 19k miles. Also, they are sort of like the cable company. I couldn't ask for a simple tire rotation along with my oil change because they bundle it with an entire higher level inspection service. If you decline the higher level inspection service, they charge you way too much just for the tire rotation. Then they tell you, "Well, if you just spend an extra $50, you can get the inspection service which includes the tire rotation." Every time you step foot in there, it feels like you're falling in a sales trap.

I'm not talking about the window tent removal, but I was trying pointed out that the treatments that I got and also over-priced service. when I was told to remove my tent window I did complied and then I brought back my car for inspection. Then I've been told to wait for two hours for just physically re-inspection when I asked if I could wait for my car, I've been told there is no waiting room. Then I've been asked to wait somewhere, so those things that I'm really trying to pointed out.

I brought the car in for a once over to decide whether I should trade it or fix it. The list of issues on my 100,000 mile vehicle was too long to justify keeping it. I appreciated their thoroughness and candor, although they didn't tell me to ditch the car.

Deceptive Business PracticesI took my car to this shop, specifically requesting a transmission check-up. On the same day, they called to say they couldn't work on my car and needed an extra day, to which I agreed. The next day, they informed me that while testing the issue I reported, smoke emerged, and the engine light started flashing.I'm not a car expert, but I know my car well, and it had displayed no signs of engine trouble before this. It's suspicious that my engine suddenly acted up on the very day they decided to work on it.Subsequently, they sent me an unsolicited, detailed report, listing numerous problems, some of which I had recently addressed at the dealership a month ago. Then, a representative from the shop called and insisted on a $200 engine inspection due to the apparent engine failure. My warranty covers powertrain issues up to 100,000 miles, so I suggested returning the car to the dealership. During the call, the shop representative became confrontational, doubting the validity of such a warranty. It's surprising they didn't verify this before attempting to deceive me. When I asked how my car was returned if it started smoking during the test drive, the guy hesitated before claiming it was towed back. Finally, when I firmly declined any further work on my car, the representative, in a sharper tone, insisted I still owed them $125 for the inspection. In the end, I retrieved my car, paid what they asked, and worried that it might indeed have problems as they claimed. To my relief, my car runs just as well as before, and there were no signs it had been towed back, confirming their earlier statement was false. The only accurate part of their report was the burnt-out brake light.I’m disappointed with this whole experience. I believed that basic ethics should be the foundation of all business dealings. Unfortunately, the AutoStream Car Care Center in Hampden, or at least the individuals who claimed to service my car, displayed incredible dishonesty. I hope my review serves as a warning for potential customers, preventing them from falling victim to such deceitful practices. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
