I went to go change my pin the African decent man calls me to the counter and ignored me the whole time time standing there talking to a co worker ..When I ask him when will he help me with my pin or I can just figure it out at the atm,he then told me go do it yourself and put my id and bank card back in the slot...JUST RUDE ..I truly plan to transfer all my accounts out of Capital One..The Consistency is POOR...They have messed my account up a few times and when you call upper management..they give Excuses on the errors and tell you to use another branch as if I dont already drive 28 minutes to this branch which is the closest...0 across the board...

I would leave ZERO stars if I could. This was the first time I've ever been to this bank.There were 2 young black women tellers and the bank manager in the facility. I had a payroll check to cash from a MAJOR local hospital and have an account with Capital One. The teller Lynese H. could not figure out how to cash my check. The other teller who refused to give me her name and had an outside jacket on with jeans and no name tag tried to help her. They told me they couldn't cash my check because it wasn't a payroll check and because it was highly likely that it would bounce. I asked them to get their manager. They refused to get her, told me it wasn't their problem and they could not tell me why they couldn't cash it. I wrote down Lynese's name and told them I was contacting corporate to complain. Lynese then looked at me and looked down to begin fiddling with something on her counter/desk. The other lady without the name tag walked from the back and I asked her name and told her I wanted to speak to the manager. She ignored my question and walked away back into the teller area. I decided to wait for the bank manager to come back out to tell her what happened. She told me she wanted to help me but needed my paycheck. At that point I was scared they were going to do something to my check, or that Lynese and the unidentified employee would look through my personal information since they had a copy of my license and Debit information. I told the bank manager my fears. It took the bank manager Jessica one minute to show them what they were doing wrong. Even while Jessica was showing Lynese, she mouthed the words that it was a personal check. Where have hospitals ever given our personal checks with typed names and company logos? I'm taking this is far as I can up the ladder because her business manner is an embarrassment to any bank teller I have ever met and detrimental to our society.When I asked for an apology she said, "I'm not doing that for no Karen", and she took her hand and ran it through her long braids, shook her hair, and rolled her eyes and kept mumbling, "No, I'm not gonna do that" when her manager asked her to apologize. Her work ethic is lacking and she shouldn't be working with the public.Go elsewhere if you want to be treated with basic business respect. There is no reason for ever not getting your manager when asked to do so. The bank manager apologized and gave me capital ones contact information. I now know that this isn't the first time LH has had a complaint. Such a toxic young woman and employee at the Reisterstown Branch. Please do something about the employee walking around with street clothes on and no work ID. It allows them to get away with unprofessional behavior unaddressed by people who go through the correct channels to have grievances addressed.

On May 31st, 2023 I open a new account (at the Pikesville Baltimore, MD 21215 Branch) due to realizing my previous account was closed when I went to make a payment on it. I was told I would receive a new card in 10-14 days. On June 17th (The day before I was to leave for a short get way for Fathers Day) I called to track the progress of the delivery and was informed it had not been ordered. I manager assured me they would handle the restriction on my account and expedite an order for a card for me and I should receive it Wednesday June 21st. On Thursday June 22nd I was again informed by a manager that the card was ordered and should be arriving by the next day or two on an previous expedited order. I called today June 24th and Im told it was actually ordered Thursday June 22nd and was shipped June 23rd. Meaning I should receive it by Tuesday June 27th. 28 days from the date I opened the forced new account. I've been forced to use my Capital one Silver credit card for most of my purchases small or large due to this deceitful inconvenience. No effort has been taken to gain my trust or make me happy. Not even any explanations, just statements they apologize and the order has been placed. Not even a follow up call or a cheap toaster oven. Not a credit increase or a thank card for trusting us with your money. Anthony G.

Go to the Mondawmin Mall location before choosing this one. If you have a car steer clear of this branch location. And if you have to go here and get bad service get their names!!

This place is a mixed bag. You don’t know what level of service you’ll get. Some days I’ve gone and it’s been wonderful and others TRASH! Arriving at a business and having those charged with servicing you just setting up and appearing as if they just woke up is disappointing. I don’t live in the area but support this location because this is bank is needed for the community.I may start to patronize the Columbia branch. Optics and cadence are everything, as well is consistency.This used to be a great branch. The employees recognized customers greeted you with a smile and displayed professionalism.A thorough overhaul is needed.Customer service courses and a real assessment of this branch is recommended. I can assure that this behavior is not indicative of other branches located throughout the counties because when I want to be treated like a valued customer I patronize them.Capital One should be ashamed of itself!•The two Starr are only because the ATM machine has cash when I need to use it.

Worst Bank Ever, A Hold was placed on my account then the party who placed it dismissed it and gave them a Clerk Of the Court Signed/Stamped Dismissal and they still won't release the Hold, I will be Closing all of my accounts

The manager is not a people person nor is she customer oriented. I needed service on my Business/Non-Profit acct and she told me I had to make an appointment. I KNOW that Capital One does not do appointments anymore. She called herself phoning other banks to see if she could get me an appointment and came back to tell me that no one could service me! All the time she took to call other branches, she could have taken care of my need. I traveled an hour to come to this branch. NEVER AGAIN!

Absolute worst bank ever!!Since Capital One took over, we’ve had tons of issues!! We’e been customers since 2006, but that’s about to change!!!Now, they are flagging many of my purchases as potentially fraudulent and claim there is nothing they can do to allow the payments to process!!

It’s been along time since I went inside the bank for service. I purposely tried to avoid going inside and dealing w/ that unprofessional staff, but unbeknownst, I saw new personnel. And the service was much better! The way it should be. I guess the word got around about the poor service and early closings of the past!

Calling to make a complaint about my recent conversation with phone representative, Mike… who never transferred me to a manager to make my complaint. Can honestly say, the Capital One customer service is terrible from the representatives on the phone to the very little bit of bank locations available, not being able to get temporary cards, etc. Stay away from Capital One and try Wells Fargo or even BOA.
