my opinion: I would like to Thank You hardworking people of Giant stores (everywhere), who retain their employees during hardest of times, despite of increasing criticism as new stores move in (sometimes, the tacktics of foreign countries used on non-assuming local businesses). as being 30+ years their customer, I hope that they won't leave Maryland, as their store shelves looks emptier each day.

Management seems to let racist people do what they want in this store. If you want to get called the n word and have nothing done about it this is the store for you.

Just okay. The meat and seafood section are pretty limited... they only have a few types of chicken! It's a good grocery store for some basic things, but it's pretty small so I'll probably look for a better one nearby. The parking lot is nutty in that shopping center and I've been almost hit as people back out of their spots. There's also some interesting characters that hang out near the entrance asking for money and such. I also think it's weird that the last couple times I've gone, there was an employee at the exit giving out survey codes asking me to rate the store a 10. Kind of defeats the purpose of a survey if you tell me what to rate, no?

Not gonna lie, I've avoided Giant for a few years because I remember them being expensive for no reason. Not Safeway level expensive, but definitely more than Weis. Lately it seems I've needed some grocery staples (i.e. cooking wine) that my beloved Aldi just doesn't carry. Giant is fairly close to me and I appreciate the quantity of self checkout registers with a dedicated employee ready to assist when something inevitably doesn't want to cooperate with the scanner. I noticed that the prices here aren't nearly as bad as I remember. The cooking wine I purchased was not on sale, but still under $5.00. The produce section always appears to be fully stocked and I can find everything I want when I'm here. The last 2 visits they've had a super sale on ice cream and I went a little overboard with the single serve cups of Friendly's sundaes. I know you don't actually HAVE to buy 10 for $10, but why wouldn't you? It's like they're begging you to empty their freezers, and I'm happy to oblige.

Close to my house. All round a solid 3 stars. Deli service is slow slow during non peak hours. So slow that I saw time go backward.

Average grocery store. Wish they had a better produce selection. They are usually out of a lot of common fruits and vegetables. Prices can be on the higher side as well. Most of the time you will be your own cashier at the self checkout because they don't staff enough people.

A) Poblano peppers aren't logged in the cashier so when I was trying to do the self check out someone had to come help, weren't necessarily polite but got the job done quick. So there's a star for that. B) They sell rotten cheese there, and no it wasn't blue cheese I'm talking about... look at the photo, I hope that doesn't explain the 50 cent discount. Lol first time in to buy groceries, will be the last one as well.

Truly appreciate this location, so close to nearby lodging. Fast and convenient to stock up on groceries while on the go. Excellent selection of healthy, organic, and gluten free items. So much more beneficial than trying to grab weeks old fruit from a gas station convenient mart.... excellent location, thank you.
