This place is amazing, I go at least once a month either for the music, art, or drinks. They have incredibly eclectic programming, and an iconic Marquee. Go there now.

Staff was extremely rude upon arrival. We arrived a few minutes before our candlelight concert was set to start. We were immediately rushed in saying “the show is going to start, hurry up!” repeatedly. All we were trying to do was go to the restroom before the concert began, and we were told we weren’t going to be able to be let in the show and we needed to “hurry up”. They also assumed we were trying to get drinks and said “the bar was open for a hour before the show go in the theater”. Meanwhile the show didn’t start for another 10 minutes. Everyone was also yelled at for taking pictures of the stage when the musicians hadn’t even come out on stage yet. Totally turned us off before the experience even began. Staff needs to do better, and act professionally. I understand that work can be frustrating but you don’t need to take it out on paying customers just trying to enjoy the event. Probably won’t be coming back to this venue again.

The music was excellent, the atmosphere was calming and centering. Certainly worthwhile and a gem in the area.

So we went to this venue for a candlelight Valentines orchestra concert which mostly was the classics….while the actual concert was great…. The bartender charged 34.00 for two cranberry and vodkas… if you expect a tip, my suggestion to the male bartender would be to wear something other than gym shorts, a tank top, Minnie Mouse ears…please dress for the event and do not get rude when you don’t get tipped for doubling the price of cran and Tito’s.

My husband and I went to Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classic. It was a lot of fun. Very talented musicians. It was very beautiful with the candles and it felt very intimate. They were all funny and even had some audience participation. We got little polaroids of our evening there in the candlelight that turned out really good. I highly recommend going to one. It seems they have them often with different themes. We will definitely be attending another one.

Great venue! I actually visited the location to attend the 1st annual Charm City Burlesque & Variety Festival. I attended the show on Saturday, 9/30/2023 to see my friends Belladonna & The Nightshades, as well as, K-Vegas & Belladonna perform. It was so awesome! All of the performances were great! It was so nice to see diversity and inclusion in terms of race, ethnicity, bodies, disability, snd sexuality! I enjoyed myself! The bartender was super nice, and she made a killer signature cocktail (it was the lemonade and I forgot the name). So good! The venue was spacious and the bathrooms were super clean! Parking although it's a small lot was good, and it was worth it paying the $8 so that I be close enough to the venue and walk across the street. There wasn't any options for Street parking to be honest, and the side streets were very dark. I'm not familiar with the area, and I appreciated all of the lights around the venue, so that I could see, and feel safe in this mostly residential area (at least that's what it seemed like). Anyway I met some cool people and had fun!

This review was inspired by my recent, FANTASTIC experience at the Interactive Movie Night: Clue! I am partial to this event because I absolutely adore this cult classic film but the cocktails, costumes, games, props and commentary were so creative, hilarious and fitting. Heather did an amazing job executing everything. It was a packed house and almost all of the guests arrived in character or costume. Given that it was so popular and successful, I truly hope the Creative Alliance opts to make Clue a yearly event.

It's the best Mexican food in the area. I wish they also offered ground beef options. However they do have grilled chicken, shredded chicken, steak, fish and chorizo. They also have shrimp. As a seafood lover... it's the least of my favorite.

I've been to the Creative Alliance a few times over the years. It's an interesting space that I've been to for crafts and events. Yesterday I was there for the costume party. It's a nice setup for a party. Looking forward to my next visit.

Always an eclectic audience and performance! Some really stellar shows, a little out of the norm, which is much appreciated. Space is nice and inviting, as long as they have access to temperature control (it can get hot, but infrequently an issue). Nonalcoholic drink options are great to see, but would like to see more (generally, but I think CA could really lay the foundation). Staff are always warm and you can tell they are smiling, even behind the masks!
