I was sent here by my physician because my typical pharmacy was out of the medication I urgently needed, and Manny the pharmacist went above and beyond, WELL out of his way to assist me. He made calls that needed to be made on my behalf to make sure that this very atypical situation and process involving meds and my insurance would result in me receiving the prescription that I needed. He was kind, compassionate, helpful, and made a major difference in my day and my health. I couldn't be more excited to have crossed paths with him, and I can't recommend this pharmacy enough BECAUSE OF him. Thank you to him and to CVS for having him!

Trash service, so rude. The pharmacy puts you on hold for 15-20 minutes. Won't fill out of state scripts and have Bs Rules.

This CVS has never given me any problems. Pharmacy is speedy with prescription fulfillment and the store has a good selection of products. Staff is nice and actually seems to care. Much more than I can say for the CVS on Charles St. Avoid that one at all costs.

I shopped at the store on Memorial Day, May 25, 2020. A store clerk greeted me when I entered the store and asked if I needed directions to a particular item.
The store clerks checked on me throughout my time in the store.
When I had a question about my 25% off entire purchase coupon, the security guard offered his assistance.
The store is very clean and well organized.
I was so pleased with my experience that I asked to speak with the Manager, Keenan.
I look forward to my next visit.
N.B.
I am having a difficult time finding Father’s Day cards.

Flight was cancelled and I needed toiletries ! Was greeted at the door by Joe who was so helpful. He helped me print my coupons, gave me a pen to borrow to be sure I didn't forget anything and pointed me in the right direction! He was helpful and courteous. Awesome representative of this store!

Had an amazing experience at this CVS, best customer service I have experienced in a long time! Antonio was amazing in getting us everything we needed!

I'll start by addressing that because they are located in such a central and busy location downtown there do end up being issues w/ homeless and drug addicts around. If going there at night I'd be careful or make sure you are with others. With that aside, reviewing the actual CVS itself and the staff I find the location to be pretty good. When you walk in you are almost always greeted by one of the staff, and the store seems pretty clean and organized most of the time. Which is quite the feat again because of where it is and how frequented by locals/visitors it is. I've also used the Pharmacy in the back a few times and I've never had anything but amazing and caring service from their team.

Yesterday I had the unfortunate experience of not only the rudest customer service I have ever had, but the manager not only continued to have a verbal exchange with my colleague; she also followed us out the store to continue to argue as I attempted to leave to diffuse the situation. As a Human Resources Manager, I know that safety is what comes first, so not only did she violate policy and procedure, she also created a hostile environment that could have put her and other employees in danger. I went to CVS after having dinner down the street. I went for the sole purpose of buying the travel size Vaseline. I looked at the price, which was $3.49. However I say another price in red that said something like $1.88. Since I am not from Maryland, I am accustomed to seeing two prices for an item, which would be the regular and sale price. So as I ring up the item at the register it comes up as $3.49 even after I put in my care card phone number. I then inform the security guard who is talking to my colleague that the price is wrong and he brings over another cashier who begins to head to the back to verify the price. I mention the red tag, and the manager, decides to reply to my comment saying that is the unit price, and there is a area marked you pay. I told her I'd did not see that, and that I'm used to the other price being the sake price. She then walks behind the register after repeating twice there is a sign that says you pay. I said okay and proceeded to purchase the item saying to Telvin the security guard, who is still standing there that I have no issue with purchasing the item, but the attitude is not necessary. The manager looks at me and states she does not have an attitude. I replied with I was not talking to you. She begins to reiterate how she doesn't have an attitude. My colleague who watches the entire exchange tells her that she did have an attitude was rude and gave me nothing but a nasty disposition. The manager says okay and what. At this point I set the Vaseline down and grab my colleagues by the arm to take her outside as her dnd the manager are now in a full argument exchange. As I do this the manager comes from behind the register and follows us outside. Once outside I asked her why did she follow us. She stated because she can and what are we going to do about it. It is at this time that I begin to record her on video and let her know that it was ignorant to have followed us when we had already left the store. Even after I started recording she still tried to take this stance as if she was right. Shawdae an associate stood in the doorway watching as I recorded and Telvin came outside. The manager finally went back inside, and I received apologies from Telvin and Shawdae who not only witnessed the outrageous behavior of the manager, but agreed she was out of line. There is nothing worse than trying to make a customer feel as if they were wrong for a misunderstanding and inciting a situation with a verbal exchange that could have lead to additional harm for those under her supervision. If you review the surveillance footage, the proof is there to verify everything I have written. I have friends who work in retail, and I have been the HR manager over my organization's retail division. I know that everything the manager did was in violation of policy. This is not a good representation of the CVS brand, and I expect to get a reasonable follow up regarding this matter. I will also be sending a letter to the store manager, general manager, and the COO along with the video.

The security guard that is assigned to this location was standing outside on the phone dropping f-bombs. Not something you want to hear when walking in with kids. The manager was not easily available to file a complaint. Selection is limited which is expected for a city location but they didn't have enough people on registers - lines were very long.

Not wowed by this particular CVS. First and foremost, there is always a vagrant outside begging or making a quick run to cvs a bloody hassle... this needs to be addressed and is a major deterrent for patrons. Front staff is welcoming and capable. The pharmacy is hit or miss. They make no attempt to apply coupons to prescriptions and the pharmacy staff, other than the pharmacists are very loud and boisterous. They constantly discuss their private affairs in the presence of customers. This is very unprofessional and detracts from the rating heavily. On multiple occasions I was left standing at the register while the attendee did not excuse herself to attend to a personal matter. Lack of manners and professionalism are the themes here unfortunately. On many occasions I stop in to buy a favorite lip balm. The product is in stock and the packages are empty! This is very frustrating. Security is also clearly an issue, again making it a safety issues for patrons. Please address the vagrants constantly on the stoop!

This is a CVS, don't get me wrong. But, I genuinely appreciated the staff here. It was a really cold day outside, and all three employees were among the most pleasant I met all day. Even the security guard was kind as can be! Great experience considering I only spent about $10 on some drinks and cough drops.

I used to work for CVS and I've been to a lot of locations, both as an employee and a consumer. This location has to be one of the worst I've ever been to. There are homeless bums outside asking for money and the security guard outside is doing nothing to curb the harassment of CVS patrons. The aisle layout makes no sense as far as finding things and where I normally expect them to be. Their travel section was lackluster and many of the bins were empty. Their POS machines at the front had a horrible time registering the items I was scanning and placing in the bagging area. Or should I say bag-less area. The entire store was out of plastic bags!!! I have never in my life seem that at any retailer. Someone is really not doing their job at this location as far as keeping items stocked. I had to buy a stupid souvenir bag to hold all my stuff on my way back to my hotel. Why would anyone in their right mind want to spend money here when there is a Walgreens a few blocks away?

I'm not quite sure what else can be said about a CVS as a majority of it has been covered by prior reviewers. Comparing this location to others, it is your typical CVS that you can find in any urban setting. It is convenient, and appeared to be well stocked. Staff were helpful and polite. Easy checkout experience.

This is a pretty straight forward CVS. I've had great luck coming in here and some not so great experiences, but it's super convenient to my work, so they have a captive audience with me for the time being. Instantly print pictures - fast and easy, but the quality really is like that of a color printer. I haven't tried the one hour lab yet, so I may update this later once I do that. Despite the low quality, it's been useful once or twice. Pharmacy - genuinely helpful. The pharmacist gave really basic advice to a guy who came in with what he thought might be a broken arm. In Chinese. Impressive. Coupons/Deals/Signage - they suck at this. Fortunately CVS prints the expiration of deals on the signage, so you can check, but be really careful here as they leave discounted prices up well past the end of the sale. Items are also frequently either put in the wrong (but similar) signage area. I've checked out only to find the 2 for $4 item I thought I was getting was $4 a piece. Staff - they generally get a bit annoyed when you get annoyed that signage is off. They sort of blame you, and act surprised or annoyed that you don't want to spend twice as much. Occasionally there will be a superhelpful friendly person working there, but they quickly get overwhelmed. Mostly though - they are a city CVS in an area with a wide variety of customers from tourists to business people to doctors to locals to homeless coming in. They keep the store clean, and even at its worse I manage to get through the store pretty quickly.

First I want to say, that the staff here is amazing. They were very friendly and helpful, laughing and enjoying their day. The store is very busy, so the lines are long but fairly quick. I found a large selection despite the limited floor space. The only thing that bothered me were the aggressive panhandlers outside the door. It doesn't seem very safe for women, especially alone. I was there in midday, so it wasn't an issue for me but definitely worth mentioning.
