My experience living at 414 (2022–2024):
I resided at 414 for two years, from 2022 to 2024. While the building itself is undeniably one of the most attractive high-rises in Baltimore — especially given the city’s limited number of comparable properties — the management team severely undermines the overall living experience.
Management practices at 414 can only be described as discriminatory and unprofessional, particularly on the part of Louise, who makes an effort to appear friendly but whose behavior tells a different story. Employee turnover is exceptionally high, which seems to be a direct result of how poorly management, specifically Blake and Louise, treat staff members. They regularly speak to employees disrespectfully and appear to have little regard for professional standards.
Safety is another serious concern. Because the building’s parking lot is open to the public, anyone can access it at any time. During my time as a resident, an individual was robbed and carjacked in this parking lot. Initially, Louise denied the incident had occurred on the premises; however, management later confirmed it in a building-wide email.
Residents also face repeated inconvenience due to faulty garage access adapters, which tend to malfunction every few months and must be reprogrammed by management. On one occasion, after my adapter failed, I left my car parked downstairs for approximately three hours without notifying the concierge. When I returned, I discovered my vehicle had been towed, resulting in a $350 impound fee — all just after I had paid rent. Despite explaining the situation, management showed no empathy or willingness to assist.
Additionally, there are highly inappropriate and unprofessional dynamics within the management team. It is widely known that Blake and Louise, both of whom are married, are engaged in an intimate relationship on the property. Reports indicate they use vacant units for these encounters, complete with blow-up mattresses and other items. Furthermore, Louise frequently wears the same revealing black dress and is known to use flirtation — and at times, alleged intimate relationships with residents — as a sales tactic.
It is unfortunate, as the building itself has the potential to offer an exceptional living experience. However, the environment created by management’s misconduct, lack of professionalism, and disregard for resident safety makes it a regrettable choice overall

I will start with the first impression when i looked to living here, Loiuse!!!! Never have i walked Into a complex and immediately felt so welcomed in my life! Originally when coming in, i still Was trying to decide between prob about 5 different places and she hands down made that decision for me based on her welcoming demeanor! She was and still is always in the best mood and absolutely the most helpful person i have had the pleasure of meeting! The entire staff has just been amazing from the GM to the concierge to even the amazing cleaners!
Cleaners: the property is so well maintained beyond standards (I’m very very clean myself and i was Blow away) they are always working and feel they make this place so perfect to be around!
GM: on top of it! He walks around the property and is always making sure things are good!
Other leasing agents: so friendly and kind and a pleasure to have around!
Concierge: on top of it! They know who you are within days of you moving it!
This place is not a move in and find a new place kind spot! It’s almost like a forever home!
The pool is so clean, amenities are well maintained! So much to offer! Even have a herb garden!!!!!!!! Several grills cleaned by cleaning crews each day and the residents take pride in the stuff also and keep things nice! Gym is HUGE!
They offer so many events!
Hands down my favorite place i have Lived by far! And as i said, had it not been for the friendly face of Louise when i came last minute to see this place…. I would have missed out! Both me and my boyfriend! We couldn’t be happier!

Me and my roommate lived here for 10 months and it’s been an absolute pleasure to have such a great experience in this facility. The community is tight and supportive, interior is modern and lovely, staffs are professional and friendly. Especially Louise, a friendly and charming lady who always provides us with immediate support. This is the only place I would like to called as my home in Baltimore!

I moved to 414 Light a couple months ago and couldn’t be happier! The building is beautiful and the amenities make it worth the money. The leasing and management team (especially Louise!) are friendly and always eager to help out where they can.

Had to the opportunity to tour last week - the building is very clean, great amenities and the apartment layouts were bright and spacious. Salwa was very helpful in answering my questions and helping with a very easy and smooth leasing process.

I moved to 414 a year ago from a nearby property and the experience has been excellent. The amenities (particularly the gym) is top notch. Louise is wonderful and is the reason I moved in! Garrett makes you feel right at home. Very personable and accommodating. No question I will be renewing my lease for another year.

This place really feels like home. From the friendly staff to the quiet, clean environment, everything has made my stay here smooth and pleasant. I especially appreciate how quickly maintenance shows up when needed. And LOOK AT THIS VIEW. Would definitely choose to live here again!
