The staff are incredibly unhelpful, they close the store early and will refuse to allow anyone in. Despite the hours say 8am-9pm they close at 8:45 everyday.

I go here and get pet supplies and for the past month they've had nothing just to show up today to go check it's Thursday and they're not even open whoever is in charge of hiring people and letting them take off to start firing them

This post is up Natela, who is working in Dollar general with a subway Tshirt on. I bought two dolls that were in the wrong place marked $6. They charged me $10.50 each. So I asked her to honor the price, and she says “if u were nice I would have”, so I said you’re doing it out of spite. I was nothing but polite with her. She was already very pissy and ghetto. As I was leaving, she antagonized me. I will most definitely let the store manager know. They should not hire people that are miserable with their lives as it spills over to the customers.

Went to DG today on my way home from work. 4pm and they're closed. This is the third time I've experienced this. First time was after a strong-arm robbery. That was understandable. This is becoming a trend.
They play a recorded warning over the intercom to would-be thieves, warning them not to steal. The nature of this recording is such that it makes those of us regular customers feel like potential targets in a police raid.
The clerks at the counter; friendly and courteous as can be. The management however, seems to not understand why they are there.
This Dollar General is not only not customer-service-oriented, their business practices are actually customer-hostile.

I always had good experience hear the staff is really helpful and friendly. They will go out of there way to help you and to make sure that you had found everything that you had came there to purchase. I also like the fact that it's convenient at all times and they basically always have every essential household and most food products that I came there for which is a plus. Also they are a clean store kid friendly for sure which is a big plus definitely recommended in my book. I will be back there again shortly that's for sure... keep up the good work and good prices

For starters the store is hardly opened on time. I've waited several times for the store to open when Tina was opening. Also she has some sort of issue. She made me wait 15 minutes saying she had to call someone about a return. First she said I needed my card so I came back with it. Then she called someone named Thelma the asst manager n she said to wait on DeLong so he can pull the receipt out the system. Tuna so worried about being mean and looking pitiful that she when I came in she said oh these are the tide pods that were half off last week now they ring full price. If she could comprehend and stop being so negative she would've understood that the pods I returned are FULL PRICE! THAT WOMAN IS MISERABLE! Then you try to compliment her even though she looks a mess and she still doesn't smile or act as if she wants to be bothered. Why does she work there if she's just going to have poor customer service?? She is the only staff member that's a Debbie downer, everybody else is so pleasant. I just can't believe I gota come back to this store for a 3rd day to return 6 packs of tide pods THAT WERENT ON SALE. TINA needs to have a better attitude dealing with customers. If she did she would've done the return correctly instead of leaving me waiting 15 minutes. Even the officer that was in store didn't understand. ?
