Fair Warning: I Write Fair Reviews.
I even waited to extend grace despite an infuriating experience. The wait is now over. Let’s get into this: Firestone from Dr. Turman (An actual Doctor in real life).
If you thrive in chaos and love a side of disorganization with your tire service, congratulations—you’ve found your new happy place! Now, I fully understand that dealing with tire warranties requires patience, but after two days of errors (on both sides, mind you), my patience ran out.
Customer service? Nonexistent. If you drop your car off and dare to call for an update, prepare for a thrilling game of Hold Music Roulette. That is, if they even answer. You’ll be passed around, given the runaround, or simply ignored altogether. After two days of this circus act, I gave up, spent the money I originally planned to spend there, and had my car towed to AAA, where—get this—they got me in and out in two hours flat.
Moral of the story: If you enjoy frustration, miscommunication, and wasted time, Firestone is a five-star experience. If not, go elsewhere.

I’ll not be bringing my car back here for anything l, after telling me the battery was the issue and it ended up not being the issue they refused to do anything to make it right. Tried to sell me on tires I didn’t need, put in a battery I didn’t need and I still haven’t had my car fixed. After $500+ I still have to go somewhere else to get it fixed.

Took my 2015 Chevy traverse lt to get differential service and when I picked my car up my alignment was messed up and I had lights on that I never seen before and my frame of my car shook while driving when it wasn't like that when I left my truck with them so I called and took my car back to have them correct whatever they shouldn't have bothered and after there service I no longer have a truck that didn't have any problems until I went to this shop and I will be looking into some further action because I just had my truck serviced at pep boys less than 24 hrs before bringing it here and I get inspections every visit and nothing was wrong with my truck but my pep boys inspection will provide me with some backing that would prove they did something besides what I paid for never take your car to this establishment if you still want your vehicle

Went back to get my car alignment redone cause they didn’t do it correctly for the first time, since I was there I asked them to activate my tire sensor and they said they need to do a sensor diagnostic which will cost 50 dollars, I agreed to it. Than they came back and said there wasn’t any sensors that was on the tires so there is nothing to diagnose but they still charged me 50 dollars !
They are out to get your money and they don’t care less about you or your car! Just beware they are scammers at its best ! Oh and putting on four sensors are 500$ they are out of their minds ! Just take you business somewhere else!!! Last time I go there ever again ! Sad thing was it was the actual head manager that was the problem he’s so money hungry! It’s so hard to find a good and honest mechanic these days !!!!!

This has been the most frustrating, time-consuming, and costly service experience I’ve ever had, and I highly advise anyone considering Firestone for brake work to look elsewhere.
It all began when I brought my car in for squealing brakes. After nine visits, countless hours lost, and an astonishing lack of professionalism, the issue was finally resolved, but at a tremendous cost to me, both in time and frustration.
*Initial Brake Job Gone Wrong*
The initial problem involved a grinding noise coming from my rear brakes. Over the course of the first six visits (yes, six), the staff repeatedly failed to resolve the issue. It wasn’t until they completely redid the rear drum brakes that the problem was finally fixed. But by then, I had wasted numerous hours going back and forth, dealing with the same problem over and over again.
*Unnecessary Repairs and Poor Communication*
What makes this even worse is that it’s possible the rear drum brakes weren’t even the real issue. The original grinding problem seemed to have been resolved after resurfacing the front rotors during the third visit, raising serious questions about whether the rear brake work was needed at all. This just adds to my frustration and makes me feel like I was charged for work that wasn’t necessary.
In addition to the poor repair work, the communication throughout this entire process was abysmal. I was initially asked to bring printed copies of my Uber and Lyft receipts (which totaled $120+) to the store manager, Eddie. After wasting my time pulling up, printing, and bringing in those receipts, I was told they actually needed to be emailed instead. This level of disorganization is unacceptable, and it caused me even more unnecessary effort.
*Front Brake Issues After Resurfacing*
Just when I thought the nightmare was over, another problem cropped up. After Firestone resurfaced my front brakes as part of their attempts to fix the rear, my front brakes began making a low-pitched, pulsing grinding noise when braking from low speeds. I could feel the vibration through the brake pedal, and it’s louder than the original issue with the rear brakes. Given that Firestone also replaced these front brakes last year, I can’t help but feel this issue is the result of the subpar workmanship that seems to be a recurring theme here.
*Unprofessional Staff and Long Waits*
The staff at this location exhibited a shocking lack of professionalism. On more than one occasion, when I came to pick up my car, I was left waiting in the lobby because no one was at the counter. During my seventh or eighth visit, I had to interrupt the technicians to ask them to find Eddie, the manager. There was simply no concern for customer service or even basic courtesy.
The store manager had the nerve to say that he “didn’t want his store to take the hit.” With all due respect, I don’t care about your store’s bottom line–I care about the hit I took in lost time, transportation expenses, and hours of frustration.
*A History of Poor Service*
Last year, when I brought my car in for front brake repairs, they over-torqued the rotors, causing pulsing when braking. After fighting with me and insisting nothing was wrong, they finally admitted fault after a manager drove the car and noticed the issue. They replaced the rotors for a second time. Despite this, I made the mistake of giving Firestone another chance, thinking this time would be different. I deeply regret that decision.
*Final Resolution After 9 Visits*
After nine visits and considerable stress, Firestone, through the intervention of an area manager, was able to finally get my car in proper working order. Not only were their repairs faulty, but their customer service was appalling, their staff was rude and dismissive, and their management seemed more concerned with avoiding internal penalties than actually resolving customer issues.

I made appt on line got reservation # for 2 pm showed up to be told they weren't taking anymore cars. I told the female who was at desk I had reservation # in her most rude response told me that if I didn't get a call for confirmation then I didn't have an appt. Well in your web site it actually stStes if there is no appt avail or a dif time they will contact you but no contact your appt is good that directly on web site when I pulled up site she was even more rudely adamitt,so at that point I told them I would never be back and directly called south Hanover St location told them what just happened and they honored my appt and I'm their waiting rm as I am writing this to let you know how rude disrespectful and extremely incompetent at this location
I also wanted to let people know I love Firestone that's why I immediately called south Hanover St location where there customer service is impeccable. I'm sry you lost my business for this location permentaly due to staff rudeness and inconsideration for my time and convenience of using your website and by the way I wrote a 5 star review for south Hanover Firestone cause they corrected all the misfortune from this location

Made an appointment online for 9am on Friday. Received an email Thursday changing my time to noon. I rearranged my day and checked my email before going to see if there were any other changes. Got there at 12 and the counter person said they tried to contact me as they couldn't take me. When I said I'd checked my email before coming, they said they tried to call. As I had no missed calls or voice messages, I asked what number they called. Only reply was: the number on file. I'm sure I tried to call you. Won't go back and wish I could leave negative stars.

Never go to this place. they try to steal money. they force you to buy a new tires even though you dont want. the guy and one ladies that repair is very aggressive. they will leave your car damaged if you decide not to change tire.. these people should not be working in a place like that.. he even ask me cash in return so that he can keep money by himself.

The customer service was phenomenal I was assisted by John who took his time to explain and go over in detail what I was looking at. Now the check engine light came back on my vehicle dashboard on 5/16 brought it back in and they(Firestone) remove it again, to my surprise on 5/18 I start my car again and the check engine light is on. I’m never bring my car to Firestone once that occurred I reported them to better business bureau and made an appointment with the ford dealer Firestone placed band-Aids over what the issue are.

I’ve taken my fleet vehicle here for service twice and couldn’t be happier with both experiences. The service manager, Jamal and all of the staff are super friendly, honest and straight forward. I’m happy to have these guys in the neighborhood!

Update - Still the best service around. Easy appointments kept on time at a fair price. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my tire needs.
Original - Fast speedy service at the price they quoted.

The work seems great but the mechanic left large handprints on the headliner of my rental vehicle which I’m liable for.

Sales writer stated he couldn’t accommodate my request of putting only 3 quarts of oil in vehicle. He is ridiculous! I’m the paying customer who keeps him employed.
