I would rather try and take my own labs than deal with this company or its staff ever again.

I had an 11:15 appointment for routine lab work from two different providers and was called back at 11:12. When the technician called me back, he was extremely rude and dismissive. When I was confused about the name he used for the referring provider (he continued to use only their first name), he finally named the practice. When I tried to explain that there were two different orders, he kept interrupting me to tell me that there was only one set. When he finally let me complete my sentence to ask what should be done, he gave me a card with a fax number. After calling my provider and sharing the fax number, I went back to the waiting room until the fax was received. While on hold with my provider, I asked the technician if he would be drawing my blood; he said yes, which made me extremely nervous because he was deeply rude and unpleasant and I have a fear of needles.
About 15 minutes later, the technician came out to tell me he still hadn't received the second set of orders. I took this as a sign to leave because, by this time, I had zero faith in the ability of the technician or the care he would provide, so chose to err on the side of caution. After leaving, I called my provider again to see what happened to the fax, they noted that the fax was sent at 11:16.
I've visited a few different Labcorp locations in the area. This is, by far, the worst one.

Came to labcorp at quarry lake in Baltimore early and was the first to arrive . Technician said he could not get into the system and i would have to wait for the next tech. to arrive
. Next tech arrived 35 minutes later stuffing her face with donuts and ice tea . she was arguing with the other technician . My first name was called “David “ i came back . They were about to draw my blood until i checked to make sure they had the correct info . When they checked the system they realized it was a different “David “ with another last name . so they almost took my blood for the wrong patient and the told me to go back to the waiting room . I tried to be courteous and friendly the whole time . The blood tech woman was talking to me with her mouth full so i couldn’t even understand what she was saying . People make honest mistakes but the workers had such negative treatment towards me and other patients so I felt like it was my duty to write this review of the sake of everyone who goes to labcorp proceed with caution ! I eventually just left because i felt unsafe about getting my blood work done due to the terrible unprofessional costumer service .

Came to the lab at 9:00 am for a routine lab work. Only four people in the room. At first, the registration machine did not show any lab work that I had to choose to complete the registration. So, I had to cancel and start over. Then, the machine did not recognized my driver license and I had manually put all my information. After registering I got a message that estimated time 4 hours and 40 min. And I was fasting since the night before. This is ridiculous! It's either the registration machine doesn't work properly or too phlebotomists take too many breaks. The service at this location is getting worse every time I go there.

I am genuinely sorry for the people who don't have alternative options to this lab. It's so, so bad.

I just want to say Quarry Lake has made a big change with the two new staff techs that's here now not only are they executing the big wow in customer service but also making the experience to get blood draw amazing timing was great and the patients and I were in and out so thanks for helping me and the others but I was curious from the last post on here because people lie so much on others when they need to really look in the mirror because the young lady wasn't rude at all and I heard and seen everything so with that's being said she was nice kind and polite He's just mad because she turned him down when he was trying to get her number 🤣😂 so bless young lady and young man at her at this office 😉

I just want to take the time and say that Vincent and Michelle give outstanding service here at this location not only are they professional but have helped me overcome the fear of needles but I can say this location is a bit challenging with the area of the people it's surrounded by but I have experience rudeness that was not necessarily given towards Vincent and Michelle these people think they are entitled but really aren't and I hope the company is supportive of them two fine individuals.

The receptionist is behind a mirrored window, very disconcerting for communications.

Extremely disappointed. Will never return.
I assisted someone at the Labcorp in Quarry Lake today and was appalled by what we experienced. The waiting room is shockingly small, maybe 10 chairs total, with patients packed in shoulder to shoulder, stepping over each other just to move around.
More concerning was the rude and aggressive behavior from the front desk staff. I witnessed multiple patients being spoken to in an unprofessional tone. One woman who had stepped out briefly missed her name being called and didn’t receive a follow-up phone call. Rather than show any empathy or attempt to help, the staff were dismissive and hostile.
An elderly man with a cane, who had checked in well before several walk-ins, was told he couldn’t be seen early despite his later appointment. After he left in frustration, the receptionists could be heard laughing and joking about him, audible to the entire waiting room. Incredibly disrespectful and inappropriate.
Multiple times, we saw family members trying to accompany patients for bloodwork. Instead of a simple, polite explanation that it’s not allowed, they were met with snappy, demeaning responses as if we were all supposed to instinctively know Labcorp's policies.
Even the phlebotomist acted impatient and curt, making an already stressful experience feel even worse. It felt like the staff were just trying to move as many patients through as quickly as possible, without any regard for basic human decency.
The Quarry Lake shopping center is usually a pleasant place, but this Labcorp location left a terrible impression. We will never return and I strongly encourage others to seek care elsewhere.

I hate getting my blood drawn. It stresses me out, so I get a service to come to my house and draw it for me in the comfort of my own home, and then they drop it off at a labcorp location, (big mistake! Go to Quest!). Well apparently the lady at receptionist in this location was in a authoritative (and may I say rude) mood, so she told the phlebotomist who drew my blood that she wouldn’t take it, she first told her to wait, which she did, and then she said she won’t be able to take it at all today. So now I have to get my blood drawn all again. I sure hope that receptionist gets that rude awakening she so desperately needs. Unbelievable!

I went to drop off a sample to Labcorp at 2700 Quarry Lake Drive today 06/20/2025 for my mother. The man at the desk was very rude and disrespectful and someone like that should not deal with patients with that kind of attitude. I am going to report him to headquarters and his supervisor. He should be fired.

Whenever I go to a Labcorp, it is usually busy. Consequently, I was prepared for a reasonable waiting period. The room was rather crowded, but loaded with interesting personalities. 😁 However, in a very short time period, I was surprising called by the very dynamic phlebotomist, Mr. Vincent, to one of the prep rooms. I had seen him earlier assisting a client with water, who was experiencing some difficulties. Mr. Vincent continued to expediously see clients.
I have unusually small veins, but Mr. Vincent was able to complete drawing my blood in record time. He was professional, polite and focused. I was very impressed with his expertise and kind demeanor.
