“Had the pleasure of stumbling in this store few weeks ago. Came across some great whiskey and prices as well. Some of the lowest in the area. The staff and owner was very friendly and helpful. They even offer free samples on store picks of alcohol. Definitely gives you the small town vibe and welcoming when you walk in. The owner is very helpful and will take the time to talk with you about anything in the store. There's also a check cashing place for all your needs. And lottery inside the liquor store. Truly you can't go wrong shopping here for your alcohol needs. And you definitely can't beat the prices... Mickys has become my go too for great finds and prices in the area for sure.”

“I've been here a couple of times. Once for a friend's birthday. She reserved a cabana outside. Another time with a few friends. I haven't had their food. The drinks are good. My only complaint was the last time I visited, I was charged extra due to the bartenders doing different things. You can get one of their "smoothies" which is really a slushie with alcohol at a specific price up until a certain time. I ordered after that time so the 1st bartender told me it didn't come with alcohol (which is fine, as it's on the placard on the table). I already had a shot so I added it to the drink. I ordered a beer, and the smoothie with a shot added with a 2nd bartender. I specifically said I want to add a shot to the drink. She was asking me if it was okay that it was rail alcohol. I said sure. Which I thought was weird because she also asked what I wanted for the shot. She ended up charging me for the shot and the slushie with alcohol in it. The 3rd bartender I went to also explained that it does not come with alcohol when I ordered a 3rd drink. I went to whichever bartender was open, which is why I went to 3 different bartenders. They should work on what is and isn't offered. I think the 1st and 3rd bartenders were correct in that its alcohol free and you should ask to add a shot. It can be pretty tight on the inside. There are games in the far back. There is a dance floor as well as high table tops. The couch seating is reserved for VIP. Everyone is pretty much sitting on top of each other and people take chairs from tables and hold onto them. Other than that it can be a nice night out with friends. They serve food. Entry fee is cash only.”

“This is a local bar where everyone knows at least 1 person. The bartenders are cool. They serve food(sometimes), and the drinks are always flowing. There's a live DJ that plays the latest hip hop/rap. The atmosphere can look intimidating. The security will put you out. They aren't for any craziness. l. The establishment is for 35 years and older. Guarantee to have a good time. All walks of life come to enjoy a good time.”

“Coffee House doubles as a book store. Bookish environment inside, nice patio outside. Breakfast and lunch options for pretty much anyone who walks in the door. Standard coffee house offering. Wife gave the chai latte a thumbs up. If you like your coffee as dark roasted as possible (like I do) you won’t find that here but their medium blend was fresh and has a flavor complexity you won’t find at National coffeehouse chains. Friendly staff. Well kept up dining area. Right behind the Study at John Hopkins.”

“I had to speak to the manager of the front end the cashiers about a female that was working the pizza bar but the manager on the other hand handle the situation well and said he would speak to her when I came the next day the light-skinned female with the dreadlocks were still ranting and raving she needs to be fired however the front end manager handle it well he was very business-oriented”

I even bought a pair of gold earrings from there, so yes if you wanna get a drink, pay some bills, pick up a pair of earrings grab a pack of cigarettes and play your lottery numbers for the day that’s where you should go.”

“MASSIVE meatball sub. Hollowed out half Italian loaf, STUFFED with meatballs, sauce, and provolone. Is it going to leak out all over the place? Hell no! They scoop out the insides, stuff the interior with all that goodness, then plug the end with cheese and the soft interior part of the loaf, welding it all shut with cheese- you can’t beat that. Also- sandwich was VERY well priced, and the double espresso to go with it was just right (and only $2.50). Edit- forgot to mention the toasted bread CRUNCH! It was outstanding, perfect
