Lowes Home Improvement in Owings Mills has the most Kirk unprofessional, rude, unhelpful supervisor/manager named Lauren. She needs to have a class in how she speaks to customers.

Update From my may 22nd order/post.. Today 6/5 Here we go again..this same order that is supposed to be here today, but according the the tracking up date, its showing that it has been shipped to my store for over a week now and I have not received any updates at all..the pymt is till pending , however again, I see Lowes is trying to put it through again, making me pay 2 for it. What is goin on...customer service which I'm on hold with now (for 10 min) are not friendly nor helpful..somebody call the store and get me my items plz. This is so frustrating Still today: 20 min Now AND IM STILL HOLDING, NOT 1 PERSON HAS COME BACK TO THE STORE..NOT EVEN THE RUDE GUY TO GIVE ME ANY UPDATES And still: 30 mins later still NO ONE, at the point I'm ready for my money back, due to the POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER..PISSSSED OFF..PLZ SEND ME ANOTHER SURVEY SO I CAM MARK BELOW FOR EVERRRRY THING I'm more pissed at the customer service at this point. not one time Did they come back to the phone to check on me, and as rude as he was, I'm sure he left me on hold on purpose Update 6/6 I don't gaf if yall giving away free items..I will never shop at this store again..im on the ph with your employe again this morning, she's cutting me off in mid convo..talking to someone in the background about me saying she talked to me yesterday ( I did not, the person I spoke to was male),shes cutting me off while imntrying to explain..then she realized it wasn't me, continued to cut me off until I asked her to let me finish my statement. Now I'm on hold while she finds out where my time is, she did come back to the ph to check on me this time, thats the only good thing about her..( btw, she claims she's a store manager)

I just prefer Lowe's all around, the customer service is so great here, the people here are always eager to help and will answer any and all questions that you have. I have never had a bad experience here and will continue to return as needed.

Would love to spend money on a grill and all the accessories. Can't find a box near the display or aisles, nobody in the area to ask, when asking for some help was directed to lumber, and flat bed carts are all outside in rain. I don't think city slickers know how to run a contractor box store.

In September 2022 we decided to go to Lowe's and look into having a fence installed. We wanted a vinyl fence, so we wanted to see what our options were. We met with a sales person, and he scheduled a date to come to our home to do measurements and let us know our options. We had our in-home consultation the following week, still in September, and we ended up singing a contract for a wooden privacy fence to be installed. We had to contact the city and pay $100+ for a site plan so the installer would know exactly where the property line is located. No problem. October and November came and went, and we heard nothing from Lowe's. In comes December, and I receive a notification that I have a credit card payment due on my Lowe's card. Confused, I look at my card, and notice the full charge for the fence on my credit card. Imagine my surprise, considering we had heard NOTHING from Lowe's. I proceed to call, and after getting the run-around for 4 days, finally filed a dispute with the credit card company, as not only did we not have a fence installed, we had no idea what the status of the project was, or when it would start. I started calling Lowe's weekly for a status, and every time I called I was given a different excuse as to the reason for the hold-up. The excuses ranged from they didn't receive the site plan, which I knew they had because I had emailed it to them 3 times already, to they were waiting for a permit, to the permit was denied multiple times because they, Lowe's, sent the wrong site plan (I checked with the City permit office in April 2023 and they had not received a permit request for my address since 2013), to the ground was now too hard and cold. It has been one excuse after the next, and here we are 8 months later, May 2023, and we still have no fence, and no idea if or when we will be getting one. To this date, Lowe's has called me 4 times, 3 times trying to deliver fence supplies they apparently ordered (December, January, and February), and a manager called in April to say the person we did the contract with was no longer there and didn't complete the paperwork correctly so that is why the permit wasn't issued, and he asked me to send the site plan yet again. We refused delivery of the so called fencing supplies because we have no place to store planks, cement, and whatever else they wanted to deliver, not to mention, they still don't have us scheduled for an install. During my many calls to Lowe's trying to find out if we are ever getting our fence installed, I was given the name of the contractor they use for fence installations in my area. I looked up reviews and found the contractor has the worst reviews imaginable, from split planks due to poor installation to differing fence heights, again due to poor installation. I have contacted Lowe's again, this time requesting cancelation of the contract since they have not been able to complete the job in a reasonable amount of time. Never did we imagine that 8 months later we still would not have a fence installed at our home. Of course, no one from Lowe's has responded to my calls nor my emails requesting cancelation. Next stop, the Better Business Bureau.

I had flooring done in 2021 and spent a large amount. I had them come out three times for the floor separating and it was repaired well after the warranty ran out they don't want to be responsible even though it's the same issue and they don't want to be responsible for it. My flooring looks horrible I don't recommend anyone to use Lowes for flooring. I have a tone of pictures I wish I could post so you could see the work and how awful it is!! Poor installation and no accountability for the poor installation want to blame who makes the floor

UPDATE: This is difficult to rate. There is no doubt that this store has a LONG way to go in terms of their phone support. I can't count the number of times that I spent 20-30-60 minutes on hold only to be disconnected. However, when I went into the store to get the customer service that I was attempting to get over the phone, they could not have been more helpful, pleasant and courteous.The. Worst. Customer service is nonexistent. Had to go INTO THE STORE to get an update on whether my appliances had arrived because no one there can find them or return a call. They were, in fact, there so I made arrangements to have them delivered the following Tuesday. Received a call Tuesday morning letting me know that they would be delivered between 12-4. It is 6:20, no appliances, no call, nothing. I have been on hold with the store on one line for THIRTY MINUTES and on my other line for 15. Will not be returning to this store for anything in the future. Likely no Lowe's store, because they are all the same.

This store is a damn joke. I needed to get a shower door and no one was available in the door department. I asked a employee walking if they could call some she said sure she walked away and I never heard an announcement for help. I waited for 5 minutes before I yelled out that I needed help someone called for someone and I waited almost 8 minutes and still no one showed. They are as bad as Home Depot if not worse, if they weren't the only two companies that sold what I needed then I would never shop there. Too bad mom & pop hardware stores all went out of business in my city.

if I could give them negative stars I would. I have someone from Lowes come out and give me a quote on a fence project. I decided to use Lowes for the project. the sale man took my information, changed me for the project. this was all fine with me. The sales man, said he would make sure the installer would call me with in a week. I waited 2 weeks. then I reached out to the sales man who never got back to me. He was super engaged with me until I paid for the project, then he checked out. I have now had to call Lowe's instillation number once or twice a week. Every time I call they put me on hold and try to reach the installer, of course every time they say they can't reach the installer. Then they tell me they will escalate the issue, and follow up with me. That hasn't happened once. I've always call back a few days later. They tell me the same thing. A month later, I still have no install date. I started thinking, I had been scammed. And that some how it was a scam. I expect a large company like Lowes to be efficient and able to manage doing a project in a timely manor. I will never use Lowes again, this has been a horrible experience. Don't use Lowes if you want to have a project schedule or completed within a timely manor.

Completely ridiculous what I just had to go through and am still dealing with. A fridge was ordered because the one we had was broken, hadn't looked in it, hadn't been cleaned, honestly assumed it would just go to the dump when we paid for the haul-a-way service which is extra. There isn't anything in any paperwork that says any thing really about the process just that you pay for it and they take the old machinery away after the newly bought appliance is delivered. When the delivery guys get here, I open my front door to him already opening and prepping my screen door for the appliance. That's totally ok and normal tbh, but unfortunately in this circumstance I thought it would have been more efficient and less strenuous for both of them if they came in through the back way, which is literally right next to where the kitchen is, which is where the refrigerator is that needs to be hauled away. When I open the door before I can even say anything the look on the gentleman's face truly says more than enough. He looks me up and down: from my feet down to my head and back to my feet. As I'm about to explain the mess in the living room, which is another reason why I assumed that going through the back might be better for them, this little frown and look of disgusts is on his face. Now I have to admit as I mentioned my living room, with there being a full family in the house children included isn't the most pristine in the moment, however that look of judgment is really not necessary especially when I had an alternative plan. Nevertheless I try to explain to him that very thing,and he talks over me and tells me that no they'd just rather go through the front. He comes through the house after I tell him please come through but I don't think that might be the best. He's continuing to speak over me and he goes to open the fridge which hasn't been opened in weeks due to it being ...broken! So it's not the cleanest thing in the world. He make this rude inappropriate comment, and then says we can't take it like that and proceeds to leave with no additional explanation. I want to reiterate that nowhere in any of the delivery information anywhere does it say that anything should be set up, processed in any sort of way, etc. Had it said that, we would have more than gotten it ready, that is not a problem! It's just that nowhere did it say that! This is in the beginning of the morning of Friday and I'm already two meetings in from work and in the middle of another meeting having to deal with this. From this point on out it is this man literally lying saying that I had an attitude and that was the first reason as to why they left, which that is not why, and then going on to ignore me asking and calling out to him in regards to the purchased merchandise still sitting in his truck! He proceeds to ignore me, goes back to his truck and drives away with the items I've purchased but have not been delivered, and with the item that needs to be hauled away per the haul away service I paid for still sitting in the house. Attempts are made to contact him by the number that was left the man answers and hangs up repeatedly. We have tried to contact the store to no answer, and there is currently a 15-minute wait time with corporate. At this point in time I do not yet know how or if this will be resolved but this has left such a disgustingly bitter taste in my mouth not just in regards to this location but in regards to Lowe's as a whole. Stay tuned. Update: firstly, it's very interesting how suddenly there are five new five-star reviews for this location when I put the original review there were a lot of negative reviews and rightfully deserved. As of today Wednesday 9/14/22, we have not heard from Lowe's. We have not heard from the fourth party delivery truck people that they hired that never delivered and never installed and has since stolen our merchandise. 6/10 I purchased a stackable washer and dryer . They were delivered without the stacking kit . i ordered a stackable washer and dryer and i would have thought that the it would have told me when i ordered that the stacking kit was needed to be purchased along with this order. I have called the Glen Bernie Lowes for a week and no one picks the phone up to reschedule and when they did they told me 3 times that a manager would call me back . NO CALL BACK as of 6/28 Lowes main office is useless , pushes the complaint to the store , THAT IS NOT RETURNING MY CALLS I can go on but i wasted enough of my time . Not even 1 star but they would not put my review through unless i gave a 1 Star DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY FOR LARGE PURCHASES

I'm helping my boyfriend renovate a new home that he just bought, which has been so much fun(his ability to have a vision to build something is INCREDIBLE). A lot of work but man, it's bonding and a new experience so win win! This has been our go to lowes for everything we've needed. Friendly, timely, and just all around good. One of packages disappeared after saying it'd been delivered (I believe it was a new sink he ordered) and they helped him quickly solve the problem and it showed up the next day( a week after it said delivered)! So they also helped fix that as well. Here are some really cool photos we took in progress of tearing down a ceiling full of plaster that had the "popcorn" ceiling look. But if you have big projects or little, this is the place. I can't wait to see his vision when we are done.

I really wish Yelp had the capability to give NEGATIVE ratings! This place has THE ABSOLUTE WORST customer service and delivery service EVER! Save yourself the trouble, money and frustration and go to Home Depot!!!

I find the associates very helpful in this store. They have a larger inventory than Columbia in my opinion. There's loads of parking.
