I’ve been coming for six years and over the course of time it just gets worse and worse. They used to be very welcoming, offer you a beverage, and do a thorough service. The past two times I’ve come they don’t even do the hot towel around my legs, which is literally listed as part of a basic pedicure service. It seems that unless you pay for one of the nicer packages, they deem you not worthy of the service that is listed. They used to give a massage, hot towel and trip cuticle etc. This time it was boom boom boom file nails paint nails send you on your way. The time was cut in half of what it used to be so they are really not thoughtful about the work they do or service they provide.

This is one of the most disappointing experiences that I’ve had with a nail salon. The nail tech that did my nails was ,I guess, going for the record of fastest nail services. I got a manicure yesterday and today my nails are already chipped. The services overall was … fine, I guess. At least my pedicure turned out okay, even though that felt rushed as well (and I upgraded the package I was getting). These were supposed to be my vacation nails, but I think that I’d rather remove the nail polish and paint them myself than to walk around with this manicure.

I love this salon and I’ve only been once! First of all this is a Chinese nail salon (I made the mistake of thinking it was a Vietnamese establishment my regrets). Chinese nail salons are rare and deserve the same amount of respect if not more! If you are into having the best nails and feet care out of your friend group take an afternoon to research the subtle differences between Vietnamese, Korean, Philippine, and Chinese nail salons (they all follow the Tippi Hedren system but with slight differences).
This salon is one of the best salons I’ve ever been to in Baltimore and I want to give it 5 star but I just couldn’t pull myself to do it! If you want to see the best of the best check out CreméLux Nail Spa (but you will pay top dollar ?). This establishment is one level below and you will pay 3x less! Also, they give a discount for paying cash so pay cash!
I will be search of Chinese nail salons from now on and this spot is also in an amazing location!

Place is clean. Variety of colors. I waited for almost 15 minutes, and noticed others were being acknowledged and started before myself. I then started to put on my shoes and they told me to wait. 5 minutes later, someone came to me. This was last week. I got a gel manicure. This is what it looks like now...AFTER ONLY ONE WEEK. I have to take this off and find somewhere else to go.

The person that did my manicure was much too rough. They were rude the whole time, it felt very rushed and they only did one layer of gel so it’s much more sheer than I wanted. Everyone else is great I’ve been here a bunch of times but this was a really bad experience and I don’t think I’ll be going back

Can't caution people enough to stay away from this place. I contracted fungus under all my toenails and I'm out of pocket on doctor visits and prescriptions. The doctor said there's no other way I could have gotten it. Said it was either the tub not being cleaned properly or their equipment.

They're decent. Sometimes, you feel a little rushed through, though. I like that they clip and file your nails before putting them in water. It shows someone paid attention in class. The guy there seems to be more thorough and takes his time more than the others. The massages during/after treatment are a nice touch.

I came here in mid January for Gel nail polish removal ($15). It is currently nearly the end of March. They shaved down my nails to the point of initially bleeding under the nail's surface (not pictured), then cracks so deep into the nail that pressing on my nail gently with the pad of my finger would cause pain. That was immediately after the removal of the polish. As of now; you can see the new nail growth that is healthy and much thicker than my nails were after their excessive polish removal that removed layers of my nail bed. Currently as the nails continue to grow, I have been experiencing my nails chipping, cracking, and snapping off on a near daily basis. This has never happened to me before at any other nail salon in the past with a task that was literally just gel nail polish removal. For the health of your nails, please reconsider coming here.

There’s a lot I could say but I’ll just say this lesson learned!!!! I will not be returning.. please hire technicians that can at least paint a nail properly and please discard old nail polish.. I saw the same guy that did my pedicure pour nail polish remover into a gel polish bottle and paint a little girl nails and they only apply one coat and charge you $10 for a second coat please beware..

I have been coming here consistently for 3 years. This place gets mixed ratings, but I am here to tell you the secrets of Maniluxe. Every person working at this place does nails differently and their individual skill levels differ greatly. If you want to be sure your nails are good, ask for Apple, Candy, or Cindy. Anyone else is a gamble. Leo is good, the androgynous people are not. Do not come with nails still on. When I have acrylics still attached, they remove them by sliding another plastic nail underneath, and slicing the layers of nail that connect them. Very painful. The pedicures are generally subpar. The good thing about this place is how quick and cheap it is. They took the sign down but they do a 10% discount if you pay in cash. They are rude if you try and start with them over your messed up nails. You have to be super nice about it, because most of them don't speak a lot of english and will match your energy and get feisty if you start with them. Take my advice- make an appointment with Apple, pay in cash, and be nice for the best experience. That is the secret to Maniluxe.

The products that they use are not good. This is my hand after only one week. I got an acrylic full-set gel polish. And three of the nails already fail. So disappointed. A waste of my money.

Very disappointed my husband and I got a luxury pedicure it was very rushed and they didn’t do a good job at all and they do part of the manicure while doing your pedicure which I agave Never seen that done before!! That manicure was so rushed my fingers were only in the bowl for 30 seconds and didn’t clip the dead skin from around my fingers and absolutely no hand message at all she left me multiple times going on to do something else won’t be going back it’s definitely not a personal experience!!

Went with my daughters (both over age 10). Both got the regular priced manicure and the polish didn't even last 24 hours. What a waste of moneyThey have loyalty cards, but don't offer them to you
