Recently, I was searching for local businesses with ethical practices that offer vegan products in sustainable packaging. Imagine my absolute *glee* when I found Mt. Royal Soaps! So far, everything we've tried has been lovely. Special shout-out to the Essential Cream; *finally*, the perfect remedy for my winter hands! (And also every day of the year :-D)
There are so many thoughtful and caring details woven throughout Mt. Royal Soaps' business practices, and their principles and community-mindedness are inspiring. Plus, even when an order went MIA, they were highly responsive and immediately replaced it - great customer care!
I'm delighted to support them moving forward, and excited to try their workshops as well. The absolute icing on the MRS cake is that they have a couple of cats on staff - LOVE <3

I love their stuff so much, the hand/body sugar scrubs and bars of soap are excellent. Always something new on the shelves and an excellent brick and mortar shopping experience. Little details, like getting a discount if you buy the soap without the labels? So thoughtful and smart. Go buy some soap. Wash your hands! <3

this place has the best soap, shampoo, gifts, etc. literally everything is good. it's a little on the pricey side, but it's worth it bc my skin and hair are so much smoother since using their products. in particular, i would highly recommend their green tease soap. i have sensitive acne prone skin + it's literally the only soap that keeps my face clean and pimple free!

Update: I wouldn’t recommend doing mobile orders. Because if you pay for shipping so that the package arrives earlier than free shipping as mine was supposed to arrive on the 18th, then you’re just wasting money unfortunately.

After experimenting with every type and price range of shampoo imaginable, I can conclusively say, their shampoo and conditioner bars are the absolute best! Try them, if you haven't already. You will be hooked!

So cute and fun! It's always a go-to for gifts. Love that it's so easy to get to now that there's a bike lane. Every time I've shopped here the cashiers are always so friendly too!

Amazing experience at the store. The customer service is unmatched and my candles make my house smell amazing. However, I think there’s untapped market potential. I was looking for bar shampoo and conditioner to limit my single use plastic waste and I found Mt Royal Soaps. I love to go by the shop, chat w the staff and explore the local goods. They have wonderful scents, accessories, and refillables. They even sell goods from some of my other favs like Wight Tea and Tiny Dog Press

I love the products from this store, I find the soaps to really moisturize my skin. The staff are welcoming and the place smells great! I enjoyed the event they had today, it was a holiday market.
