I tried out OPEX a couple times for body composition measurement and posture consultation. The staff was very professional, providing detailed interpretation of the analysis and personal advice on improving my postures to avoid injuries.

I’ve been going to OPEX for about a year now, and I’m so happy I found them! Sean and his coaches are very knowledgeable, and I love the personalized health and fitness programming they provide. I find a lot of value in their overall approach to health in and outside the gym. Sean’s helped me work through some injuries, and I’ve gotten stronger, leaner, and learned so much about how to improve my health on a day to day basis. What I’ve learned and implemented has gotten me to a healthier place and even allowed me to stop taking my daily prescription meds.The atmosphere is fun and approachable, coaches and members are friendly and welcoming, and you’ll get to work on your personal goals with the help of a great coach. Highly recommend!

** Disclaimer: I go to OPEX to see Chris Heeb as a personal trainer and am thus unfamiliar with the OPEX training program or working with Sean as a trainer** The gym space itself is well equipped, gorgeous, and clean. I've been working with Chris for almost a year and would highly recommend him as a coach/trainer. When I started seeing him I had zero intention of continuing with personal training - I was going for a few sessions after an injury to be sure I didn't hurt myself. I Iearned so much in those three sessions (like apparently I never really knew how to properly brace my core) I decided to continue. I am now stronger, faster, and have more mobility in my late thirties than I ever have (and I have been a member of CrossFit gyms and run half marathons prior so had some background in fitness). Chris is also very friendly and understanding. My schedule changes every few months and he has worked around it and optimizes my workout.plan so that it is feasible for me to meet. Somehow (?!) I am still building strength and losing weight while working out only 1-2 times a week with my crazy fall schedule. Highly recommend!

I have been a client for over 5 years and it is not an exaggeration to say being a member saved my life. I am stronger and healthier now than I was when I was a teenager. This is one of the best investments I have made for self care. The tailored strategy, genuine caring and support has allowed me to take better care of myself. Extremely overpriced despite being advertised as less expensive than a personal trainer. They want you to commit to 6 weeks of training at $150/week. $900 just to try out this place. Yeah..let's not. And for that price you're allowed a whopping 2 classes per week.The location isn't ideal and was hard to find and get to. The place was creepily empty, just me alone with the guy trying to hard sell me. Kept saying my name to me over and over in that unnatural way only salespeople do. Such obvious tactics were a huge turn off right out the gate.Place seems scammy and sleazy as heck. I would avoid.

I started at OPEX in the worst mental and physical shape of my life following a personal tragedy. Despite little prior experience with strength training, Sean and the coaches have guided me through new ways of working out. The individualized plan has allowed for flexibility around life events while still keeping me on track and accountable. After six months I feel so much healthier, happier and energized.

Hands down, best choice I’ve made working out at OPEX Baltimore South. Sean and his team of coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly. I really like how they give me tips and tricks to get the most out of every workout. I’ve been going for a little over a year and have become much more lean and toned (my body fat dropped from 19% to 9%). I am really happy seeing myself achieving my fitness goals with the support of the OPEX coaches. Three times a week, I look forward to walking through these doors and always feel amazing when I leave!

Going to the gym is not my favorite activity. However, the initial 6 weeks have helped me get stronger and I’ve put on some muscle in that time. Sean and his team are very knowledgeable and I enjoy the individualized workouts in a group setting. I feel healthier and plan to continue working out here, even I though it’s not my ideal way to spend time.

OPEX has helped me build healthier habits and kick start a new fitness routine. Like many people, I gained weight and lost some motivation over the course of the pandemic. None of the “quick fix” methods like juice cleanses or riding a peloton once a week worked for me. I needed to be consistent, commit to a plan and have someone hold me accountable. Sean and the team at OPEX have been incredible at building a plan for me and helping me through the ups and downs. In just 6 weeks I gained 3.5lbs of muscle and lost 1lb of fat. Although the number on the scale hasnt gone down just yet, I feel so much healthier and happier and I’m on track to reach my fitness goals. My friends and family tell me I look stronger and healthier already. I gladly re-upped my membership after the initial trial period and I am excited to keep going. I highly recommend OPEX to anyone that has the desire to be more fit but just needs a little bit of guidance to create a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

I learned a lot from Sean, Andrew, and Kate in my 6 weeks training with them. Sean helped me to improve my diet in new ways. I improved my form on many movements and added a bunch of new workouts to my repertoire. At OPEX they take a holistic look at your health and make an individualized program for your goals. Touching on all aspects of health including, exercise, diet, sleep, hydration, timing, and so on. I highly recommend.

This is hands down the best gym experience I have ever had. Sean makes personalizes workouts that load into your app each week, so you know your workouts coming up. When you get to the gym, either Sean or one of the other great coaches will make sure you know what you are doing and are there to assist in anyway.
