I was very impressed with their service. From the estimate, move, and follow up, they were professional, courteous, friendly, and very careful with my household goods. They did what they said they would do, showed up on time, and moved my stuff until I was happy with where the furniture and boxes were placed in the new home. Thank you for a superior job!

So, you know how nail biting it is to find a good moving company, right? If you’re reading these reviews, I’m sure you feel it! I shopped several different companies, most giving me estimates of $8,000-$12,000 to load, transport, and deliver. We did our packing. I called Orly and spoke to Liz, who right off the cuff I felt like we hit it off. She was down to earth, transparent, and accommodating. She gave me a quote based on my specific load, and Orly came in under everyone else. I thought on it, and ultimately picked Orly. When I looked into to company, I learned the owners are husband and wife, living locally in MD for many years and having deep ties to their community. Ron (the owner) came for our estimate and was a delight to navigate the estimate with. We liked him a lot. I researched their company. They stay current on insurance, don’t have any accidents in the last 2 yrs at least), are a carrier (meaning they won’t broker your move out to some unknown 3rd party), and their reviews are glowing overall. Negative reviews are common things that can go wrong in a move and really would happen with any company, so they shouldn't be held against Orly. Moving an entire home any distance is a ton of work. Meeting Ron, Liz’s wonderful assistance and personality, along with my research made me feel pretty confident in the choice. Moving day came and Jonathan and 4 “loading employees” came to load us up. They were hard-working, kind, and I felt comfortable with them. Jonathan and Marlo were also two of the same people who came to load, and they arrived to our home to deliver at 8am on the dot!! They came when they said they would, they carefully unloaded our belongings, and everything looks great. I haven’t unpacked everything yet because it’s the day of delivery, but I am so thrilled with Orly, that I couldn’t wait to leave them a review, in hopes that other people choose them too. They all did a FABULOUS job. THANK YOU for not abusing my trust. It means the world to my husband and I. We wish you all the best!!!!!

My moving experience was excellent. Orly staff loaded 140 boxes, a house full of furniture, and a piano in June and stored everything for over three months. They delivered and unloaded everything to my new home. Both crews worked very hard and took good care of my belongings. I was very nervous about this big move, but everything worked out flawlessly. Special thanks to Liz O'Leary who runs the office. She coordinated everything and gave me very good advice about how to make my move as easy as possible. Liz defines excellent customer service.

Recently we moved from Reisterstown to Timonium. We received multiple estimates and chose Orly moving. From our initial contact with Jeff who provided the estimate, through the moving process, we were very pleased with the service and professionalism.
Julio (sp) and his crew did exceptional. We were very happy with their service. As we were moving in, Julio asked if he could provide his opinion with setting up a room. Needless to say his suggestion fit perfectly. The crew worked at a steady pace, were friendly, and took exceptional care during the load in / load off process.
Other bids were in the same range $1500 - $2000 but didn’t include the up charges such as packing materials used, piano movement, as well at gym equipment. When getting an estimate make sure you get them to include the price of packing materials.
I highly recommend Orly as your movers. At least let them provide you and estimate as I’m sure they will provide competitive pricing.
When deciding on a moving company, I read the online reviews. From there, I contacted several moving companies for the estimate. I hope this review helps you in your process of moving.. Good Luck!

Orly did a great job handling my move from DC to NYC including safely storing my belongings for 6 months. I especially want to shout out Liz who was a consistent communicator and helped deal with a complicated insurance situation at my destination building.

The four pleasant young men who prepared and moved a large dining room set and several other large pieces of furniture for me to go to Alex Cooper Auctioneers were fantastic! The items were well prepared and efficiently moved to truck in an amazing short time. I would certainly recommend them to others.

Orly is the best! They have moved both my sister and I several times between us. I would not consider hiring anyone else. Professional, friendly, efficient and reliable! They are amazingly fast without damaging or losing anything. Plus, everyone in the company has been a pleasure to deal with -- the sales people, the estimator, the movers and the foreman.
On my last move, they were able to send an estimator to my home immediately and I had a detailed written estimate emailed to me within hours after I first called them. They arrived at the time they said they would, completed the move within the time frame they estimated and for exactly the cost they projected.

Julio and his team did an AWESOME job from start in Maryland to finish in Florida! They were all very efficient and careful with our belongings. They were also very polite, respectful, and cleaned up nicely when they were finished. I highly recommend them. Great job guys! Thanks again, Julio!

I have moved several times all over the country, and the crew at Orly has by far been the best crew that I've worked with! They made my cross-country move incredibly easy and stress-free. Everyone I worked with was super friendly and professional, and the pricing was very reasonable, especially for their exceptional quality of service. They truly go above and beyond.
I used most of the services Orly provides: they moved my things out of my apartment in Baltimore, kept my things in storage for a few months, and then brought everything to me in another state. Each step of the process was flawless. I'm generally a bit anxious, but I was never worried about anything with Orly.
I never had any trouble getting in touch with the office. Everyone was lightening fast in providing me with what I needed, and they were super communicative and proactive at each step.
They also all took great care with my things—all of my fragile antique furniture arrived in perfect condition, and not a single item was broken or damaged in any way.
There is a reason these guys have such great reviews on Google. They have truly earned all of the praise. As special shout-outs, Liz and Paz were wonderful to work with. And Julio and his crew took such great care of my things moving them from Baltimore to my new place in another state! But literally everyone I interacted with was phenomenal, and I wish I could thank them all by name!

Recently I relocated from Delaware back to my home state of Maryland. I hadn't moved in 20++ years and was significantly downsizing (4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom condo). I was concerned about the move, and about all the horror stories associated with movers. My realtor suggested Orly Moving, and I couldn't be happier with the service and outcome. The communication throughout the process by Liz and the moving team was great. My main concern during the process was that there were no surprises and there were none. Everything was explained in detail. They made the move easy, and the crew was very easy to work with and very efficient. (As a side note, when packing I realized that Orly had moved me to Delaware over 20 years ago. I had forgotten about that and found out after I contracted them). It was a very positive experience.
