Good store that's walking distance from many of the homes. I like the good selection of products and I LOVE the fact that they are open late into the night! Sometimes you've gotta take a quick trip to pick up some basics and it sucks when everywhere is closed. But 5th Street is my go-to option for late night snacks and other essentials

Although my mobility is limited to a wheelchair, I will catch the bus from 10th & Patapsco, to shop at a store that has everything from food, body wash, detergents, to a variety of pills to lift a man's spirits, “if you know what I mean.?” What I like about Sonny, he’s open to suggestions about ordering new products to better serve the community. So, I don't mind making my way to 5th Street. It's all good ❤️✌️and a whole a lot of souls. Merry Christmas with a prosperous New Year to Everyone.??

This is the best corner store in the city of Baltimore! They have absolutely everything you could possibly want and the owner Sonny is very friendly and personally knows everyone from the neighborhood and Keisha is the best cashier because she knows how to deal with every type of person and she is from the community and knows all of the kids in the neighborhood and they know better than to go in there and steal.. every store needs a "Keisha"☺️ but I think she also works at the other store they own a couple blocks down Patapsco ave. It's probably the best neighborhood corner store in Baltimore, The only thing I miss about the South Baltimore neighborhood of Brooklyn is this store! We now live in Southwest Baltimore and there are no good corner stores. My kids ask me if I would take them to the 5th Street store all the time and whenever I'm in the area I always stop there

Hello it's Bryon Buckland again... if I don't feel like driving far and Charlie Ward's is closed I will go to the 5th Street store. Before my son passed when he was at Maree G farring or his friend's house close to 5th Street store he would go there quite often. Those guys that own it so, hats off to them for sticking with it! They have a great personality they always let my son slide $0.50 or a dollar because they knew I was his father and my son always paid up if they let him slide for a day. Unfortunately with bullets flying all the time on that corner those guys have their work cut out for them! I wish him the best and if you're ever in the area and you need to stop they make it safe as possible and guaranteed a smile. Also I admire them because they do not, do not put up with shoplifters they take a picture of you and stick it by the front door to let everybody know you're a thief. That's what all stores everywhere should do. That's my opinion of the 5th Street store. Thank you for reading and until next time....

Mr. Sunny is very respectful and nice to me everytime I come and he's there. It took a little time for the youngest male to come around to being nice and respectful with me but he finally got it , so with that I'll give them guys a 5star for trying and making it work....

listen to costumer requests. Great variety of items, frequent restock; even higher quality items. Try to maintain a good environment for costumers. Owner is very involved at store so, good employee bond-if you act properly.
