Service is pretty good but cleanliness of the customer waiting area sucked, especially the coffee area. There were mouse pads right by the coffee cart and I feel if you’re going to offer a free cup of Joe, have the area clean and take pride in the establishment.

Check that you have your wheel lock and lug nuts before you leave if you’re getting tire or brake services. I went to this location twice for issues with my brakes. The first time when they took the tires off, I didn’t notice they didn’t give the wheel lock back. It wasn’t until I went back for another brake check that the associate asked me if I knew where it was that I realized it was missing. The last place that had been in or touched my car was the associates at this location. So I told the guy “someone here must’ve taken it” his exact words were “that’s possible”. W T F?! Why are you ok working with thieves? He said the charge for them to take them off would be $70 or $75. I had no choice but to pay it. I didn’t think I needed to check to see if they put the lug nuts back on, but apparently you have to inventory your car before and after leaving here. Today(2/27) I went to order a new wheel lock and wanted to make sure the pattern matched only to find out that I’m missing the lug nut from each tire.

My last experience with Pep Boys is the reason for this rating. I previously had worked done by Pep Boys after which I started getting a check engine light I had to return to Pep Boys several times to look into the reason why this light was coming on, which was completely inconvenient for me because I had to take off work and catch Ubers in order to do it because apparently the parcel who could figure out the issue only worked on the weekdays. When my car was finally able to receive service, I check it in on a Friday. Did not get my car back until Wednesday after calling several times to get the updates on the work that was being done on my car during which time I was rudely talk to, but all of this could have been avoided if they would have just communicated with me about the status of my car. The final day of service for my car they said they finally got a part in, but left off one of the services that they recommended which caused me to have to wait additional time to receive my car back. The lack of communication and the rude response is a reason that I will no longer be returning to this Pep Boys for service.

I went to Pep Boys on Harford Road and was charged two times for one service and never received the first payment back. When attempting to get my money back I was getting the run around and the crazy part of the story is that I did my part in showing the store where I was charged twice and still never received my money back. I will Never go to Pep Boys again

I am currently at Pepboys came for an oil change and the technician did something to my battery because now my car don’t start. I was asked if I had any issues with the battery and I said no. It was perfectly fine while I was driving it to Pepe boys, fine when it was pulled into the shop and after Antonio did my oil change the battery died. The manager TJ is here and all he is doing is saying to jump start my car which will not solve my problem. He is being very nonchalant about it as if that’s all he can do. I had to get my car towed all the way out Nissan just for me to realize that the technician had my car on while doing my oil change which drained my battery. I am 100% sure of this because like i mentioned to the associates at Pep Boys when my car is on it automatically connects to my phone which it did for a while. This is my first and last time coming to pep boys. I am owe a refund for the oil change, tow expense, school pick up expenses for my son and Lyft expenses for my inconvenience and for Pep boys team members lack of accountability, money wasted, time wasted, and lack of integrity! I was treated horribly.

My car battery died and I received a tow to this location. Unfortunately in the time it took me to get here, they had closed. The customer service rep Anton called me "self centered" for asking if there's anything that could be done when I walked in and to "see it from his perspective". I'm sorry my car couldn't break down at a more convenient time for you.

The Management rude , didn’t listen , blamed the customer, called me a liar. They worked on my radiator, didn’t put antifreeze in my car , I drove it then , car overheated. I checked the radiator there was no antifreeze in the radiator. Motor damage, they said I have to take the car to the dealer to fix it. The store on Hartford rd and Cold Spring

Service was so so, was told they don’t do state inspections but called and was told they do. Asked to repair a tire and as I post this the tire still needs to be repaired correctly. Had a 10am appointment and was told it was going to be awhile because I was 10 mins late. For a tire repair and alignment the car was finished at 1:40pm.

Tech (white dude) told me my engine was bad due to lack of oil. Just had the oil pan replaced and checked the oil when i picked it up. Had it towed to Acura and it was my muffler loose causing the noise. charged me 50 bucks to tell me a lie. Still driving my car rn.

Whent to have flat fixed they put new tires oon tesla ….then air still coming out … took it back … now they find a cracked rim ….( just so u know the time for this was …. unexcusable
