Service was good on my vehicle Corey was very helpful and has great customer service skills. However, the restroom is a major concern and is rather ridiculous. This is an establishment and there is no reason the restroom smells like a back alley. The odor is so strong of urine and the floors look like they have not been touched in years. I understand they’re working on cars but it can still be clean that’s disgusting and no way a business should up hold their public restroom. If employees have to use that restroom then that’s even worse to expect someone to work all day and have to release themselves in that condition. They need to do something about that a.s.a.p!!!

I had a disappointing experience this morning with Andrew. I received a text 30 minutes before my appointment saying I would not be able to wait during my service. This was initially understandable, then while I was on my way to my appointment I received an email saying that I canceled my appointment and would have to reschedule. Mind you I never cancelled or confirmed I was not coming. When I arrived I was told that the service may not be completed til the end of day which again I was fine with. Once agreed to this he said “oh actually one of our lifts is broken so we probably won’t be able to do it at all today.” Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. I needed a simple service of a flat tire repair. I called NTB tires and they took me right away only having to wait 20 minutes. I had always gone with pep boys for tire services but I will be taking my business elsewhere. Thanks Andrew for nothing!

Service was slow. It took an hour and a half for an oil change. That was with an appointment. The bathrooms were absolutely... filthy. Will not be back. We went to the parkville location. We cannot make a comment on any other location.

Disgusted with their lack of customer service. My wife has a serious knee injury and had to load a car onto a dolly by herself. You are terrible and just disgusted me by your lack of service. Never ever will use Pep Boys again

Very Unprofessional & I do not recommend this location "whatsoever". Staff is not pleasant at all! Onsite for a tire to be plugged & told it would be an hour & a half, for a 20 minute service. I scheduled the appointment online ahead of time, to avoid unnecessary wait time. Never again will I waste my time & gas, when I have had better service elsewhere. To top it off, the waiting room is Absolutely Disgusting & it appears it hasn't been cleaned EVER! UGH

I took my car there to get a single tire replaced and when I got it back I noticed they had put a sticky weight on the outside of my alloy rim. I thought this was kind of odd being all the other wheels have the internal sticky weights that go on the "Inside" of the rim but I moved past it. Noticed it was missing the valve stem cap that I came in with (also weird) so I got a new cap and got that sorted and went home feeling not great about it.
Fast forward to a few days later I went to check what psi they put in the tire and I noticed that they did not replace the valve stem when the service specifically stated they did. The reason I knew was the original stem had a crack in it and it was still on there , not replaced. So I call the store to talk to the manager, he says "bring it back and well fix it" I make an appointment to go back to get the valve stem replaced and think "oh hopefully this will be quick because they already messed up once so maybe they will make sure to get me out quick" boy did I think wrong. I was there for over 2 hours and when the car came back I was like "cool" and went to go inspect the valve stem to see what they had done, and a second time I noticed the valve stem cap I came in with was now missing so im getting mad because this happened 2 days ago when i came to get the tire replaced the first time.
And then I see it, I see to my horror the service tech I guess ran the sticky weight thru the balance machine or tire rack or who knows what but the rim now has a HUGE scrape exactly where the sticky weight is. And to top it off no one alerted me about it . They just I guess expected me not to notice . And I loose it, I was so mad, I went to get a basic tire change at a professional establishment and I leave with a heavily damaged rim. It's not a little scratch you can buff out either it's like a 3/16" x 1/4" x 12" gouge. I'll upload the pictures , it's horrible. I had to drive home wondering if the wheels were torqued on correctly. the car now had a vibration to boot (did they balance it incorrectly ?)I actually went straight home a took the wheel off and retorqued it to be sure .
I took it to another shop to have the wheel rebalanced and the car is super smooth now. Wow pep boys 😲
And honestly I feel bad for writing a review because I talked to the manager and he said to take it to a wheel repair place and get a quote and bring it back to pep boys and maybe they will pay for it. And I'm going to do that it's hard because I work 6 days a week and can't bring my car to get estimates easily. It's almost a month since the incident and I haven't had a chance to get a quote from a 3rd party rim repair place.
But I just want it to be known . I went to a professional place expecting to get a simple service done correctly and come out with a damaged vehicle . I've honestly lost all confidence in Pep boys to safely and correctly do their job. And I will say the assistant manager I talked to was very nice. And the counter guy who sits at the service desk in evenings is also very cool/courteous. But there is something up with the service techs that work after 5pm. There is a complete lack of professionalism and skill. I almost feel like because my vehicle was older they basically said "f'ing POS" it def felt like it by the way they totally just ignored the damages they inflicted. I worked in automotive for many years and never have I witnessed such a horrifying experience.

Purchased a champion 36 month battery at pep boys, now 33 months later it is bad. Called pep boys in parkville Maryland spoke to someone on phone who said they needed to check with manager he called back left MSG saying yes they would replace under warranty, (I have recording I can post). I went to store yesterday to exchange battery and was told not in stock but would have one for me in the morning. Today called the parkville store to make sure the battery was there, was told by the same store manager that said he would get the battery " will not exchange battery they dont honor warranty any longer.so I wasted 2 days and drove total or 32 miles for nothing even after I was told by two people they would exchange battery.my opinion is that pep boys is all to happy to take your money yet wont bother to warranty anything they sell you.
We do have the recordings of they promisses of replacing battery to be posted .
Buyer beware of pep boys business practices.

Well it's pep boys it's an ok parts store the only problem I've had is that they say they have something in stocks only to show up and nope not so much. The prices on most things here are pretty high compared to other parts stores if they had what I needed whenever I'm there I'd not mind the higher price but it's always we can get that for you in like 3 days to a week and the price is still high. Good luck ?.

I'm always extremely pleased with everyone who works here. Thank you for being so honest and trustworthy. I'm new here, and I wasn't sure who I could trust with my car. I will definitely keep coming back. I highly recommend them! They're wonderful and treat people with utmost respect and kindness.

I was really impressed with Andrew care and professionalism. He was honest and gave me great advice about what was going on with my car. He could have easily gone for a quick battery sale but instead dug deeper for what was causing the problem. He fixed my car on Mother's Day, gave me a discount and provided excellent service! I would use Pep Boys again!

Andrew and John were very nice, friendly, and professional. Andrew was not a pushy sale guy which tends to be the case at other establishments when they have female customers. I was recommended this location by my ex husband.
