The associates are the reason I come back, and the food lol. I just met Ashley and she is so kind and loving! I was walking around in the store and even though she was tired she welcomed every single person to make sure they were noticed! Something about almost every Royal farms associate I've ever met in my life have just been kind, and having the smallest ounce of kindness goes a LONG way! I feel safe in Royal Farms and at home.

I’d like to start of by thanking corporate for dissembling a unique retail environment, with happy customers and a crew that seemed like they meshed in family way, and replacing it with cold, inept employees who can’t keep the coffee bar stocked and clean, who can’t ring up customers when they arrive (picture included), as well as employees who run disappear into the bathroom when customers come in. I mean, fantastic job. I know for fact the sales were good in this store, as I used to visit 10 times a week. Every day coffe, often lunch, always drink. I was so freaking happy and proud to see this unique occurrence at my local store!It started about 2 or so years ago, a light skinned woman was brought it, and we had a chance to talk. She wasn’t tall, not imposing, but honey badgers are tough. This woman was tough. I dare say her 20+ year tenure at McD’s taught her how to mold a younger, newer, and less experienced crew. And she did. She built a team that turned that place around. I was and am amazed by what this woman accomplished.When she left, the person brought in, an older medium skinned gentleman, made the transition seem less. A new face here and there but the core stayed. And a “family “ feeling grew there.For his tenure the store looked good, was stocked coffee bar in good shape, every morning I was there. Again, this was many many mornings.I was amazed and impressed at the functionality of this store, the good vibes the crew gave off. The customers noticed it, as their parking lot traffic increased. Noticeably. And the food!!! Omg I passed EVERY OTHER Rofo (4on my way home from work) just for the perfectly fried, fall off the bone goodness that WAS this royal farms, in particular.There are no words to describe the pride I felt that I lived in Baltimore City and we HAD a bangin Rofo!Then you, corporate, got a wild hair somewhere and decided to change the store manager. And, as I’ve seen time and time again by weak, headstrong, and often time borderline incompetent managers, this person has successfully disassembled as family, a working crew, for the sake of having “her own employees.”I gave her the chance, as you, corporate, know, she’s been in about a month or so.And what she’s don’t to that place is utterly ridiculous. The employees are horrid. No family atmosphere, no bonding within the crew, the customers are all quiet in the morning now, as are the employees.Except for Tracy. She’s one of the very few remaining that is absolute gold with customers. She’s been shining there for a while, and everyday, she’s smiles. She’s projects positivity. I can tell some days she’s not feeling what she’s projecting, but she’s never let it betray her approach to people. She’s the only one left that’s really showing love.There was a gentleman, I believe his name is Tony, who was manning the chicken in the am. A tall medium skinned dude, he was great to talk with in the early am and his chicken WAS PERFECT!!!!!!! I mean this guy is a master at his craft. Was. I should say was. I never see him anymore.He was on point, and a pleasure to interact with.I could go on, absolutely, and go into greater detail the destruction that you, corporate, have brought upon my local store. It actually hurts, to experience this kind of assault on what was a good store with a great people operating it.For reference I’m a retail manager, been in the retail game since 1996, and have operated small box corporate stores with, at times, up to 14 employees to motivate and look after. I can’t say I’m as good as the light skinned woman from McDonald’s, she’s on another level, but my eyes are good. I know what I see and have understanding see what’s actually at play.You have failed this storeYou have failed the employeesYou have failed the communityI won’t be setting foot in this store anymore. And tbh, that’s sad for me.I miss that family.

Y’all have the best overnight team! Ther girl training was on her first day and still pleasant, present and engaged, and the associate helping her was even more awesome! Patient and guiding without belittling her! Way to go!

This is one of my favorite Royal farms well stocked and Ms. Mya she is awesome she has amazing customer service , she’s very helpful with what to choose , and such a ray of sun shine always so pleasant and make me laugh.

I absolutely ADORE this location from the fresh food to the clean floors and countertops the employees are awesome especially Mya & KP he runs an awesome crew, I look forward to seeing these two everyday ❤️❤️❤️
