Staff is not friendly or willing to work with out false information and restock your prescription a day before. It's actually sure to be technically. You get 14 days. My prescriptions were restocked on the 13th day even though I had text message confirmation. The asian woman eas the best and the only one that was willing to work with me as I was running late to pick up prescriptions that are mandatory.
And we're going you my mental health. And I can have seizures if I miss doses. She went.
Above and beyond, Mr., answer the phone 2 minutes before the pharmacy closed and waited 2 minutes after the pharmacy closing time, which I know they are short by closing their system in time without us. There wouldn't be a job for them customer services key. Besides her, I have not felt welcomed or respected. I pay cash for all my prescriptions, so I'm not using any free state insurance usually there's a line* & only one person doing drop off and pick ups. There needs to be a smiling happy person that makes you feel\n A little bit more better about your state of health and well-meaning, especially cause there are sick people coming in there to get prescriptions for coals, the flu, COVID, etc. As well as elderly and military. It's just a cold blend face, maybe it's just me. But every time I go I am\n Hit in the face with a problem..

This review right here is specifically for one employee that went above and beyond which is Towanda. I am a type 2 diabetic. Long story short, I had lost my insurance for a while so I hadn't been able to get all of the prescriptions that I needed to manage my A1C effectively. After obtaining Insurance I was able to get my doctor to immediately call in the prescriptions that I needed to address my current issue with my A1C which is above 10. So I went into the Safeway app and paid for overnight shipping for these prescriptions on February 19th. Expecting them on February 20th. I did not receive them on the 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, or 24th, I spoke with the pharmacy manager which assured me I would have them on the 25th. So I waited. I received a notification that they should be here by 1:15. I was standing outside 1:10-1:35 to ensure there was no issue with me receiving these medications. No one ever showed up so of course I called the pharmacy and I ended up speaking with the lovely young lady Towanda which was a blessing. This young lady volunteered to drop off my medications on her lunch break because once again their shipping Department had canceled my delivery for some unknown reason that I was not notified of. Towanda would not accept any type of compensation for her above and beyond act of kindness. So I figured if I cannot gift her with anything, I had to share how much of an asset she is to this establishment. Because after today I was going to transfer my prescriptions to Walgreens. I've never had an issue like this ever in my life and I pray to God that it never happens again. So Safeway. I hope that you value Miss Towanda because she has definitely changed the course of my actions moving forward with my prescriptions in the future. It is actions like this that remind me that there are still good people in the world performing Good deeds and they cannot go unnoticed. With the same energy that we use to provide negative reviews or comments, we should use a higher sense of energy to celebrate positivity. Kudos to you. Towanda for being a phenomenal person. May the Lord bless you for your deeds and your genuineness in your pathway forward.

These morons continuously mess things up. They never have monthly refills (after TWO YEARS), and gave my wife viagra instead of her normal med, which could have *seriously* messed her up. If you have another option, take it. I haven't seen a single pharmacist last more than 3 months here because of their extremely high turnover rate fueled by idiotic management. 0/10

Critically, borderline negligently understaffed.I had an eye infection and was rapidly losing visor. Optometrist eye drops sent there 5 hours before they closed. I begged them to fill it that day because I would be unable to travel unassisted in the morning. They did not. I only sent it there because it was walkable and I was already feeling unsafe driving. Otherwise I would have avoided them due to so many experiences like this, but they are walkable.Charles Village Safeway: You have several major medical centers around you as well as a massive area of students and high density housing. At no point should the pharmacist be the only one on staff. Maybe if you were open 24/7, but you just rolled store hours back further.

I only go here when I need a pharmacy and am too sick to drive since itās walkable. Almost every order has had an issue. Terrible communication amplifies this and causes me to be unable to fill medication for excess periods of time.If they donāt have something, they never tell me until I find out some of my Rxs are missing. If they told me⦠I could call another pharmacy and if they have it, transfer and then fill it there. But they donāt. They also say they will get it on X day and then they donāt (and donāt tell you). I have been waiting on a cough syrup so long that Iām better now. They also looked up a medication that is available without a prescription but covered by insurance too. I asked how much it was. $56. Insanity. Thatās the no insurance rate apparently. But they didnāt ask if I had insurance and just let the call end on that note.I called Giant and they said itās $10 with my insurance but Safeway has a hold on it now so I have to call them back and make them release it. How did they give me the self-pay rate while utilizing my insurance, I donāt know, but this was also a life saving medication like an epi-pen. I asked them to please just fill it with my insurance but I need it asap.Nope. Expediting a lifesaving drug of that nature (after they caused massive delays) one time would be unfair, I guess.I drive to the 24hr Giant in Catonsville who always call me if there are any issues and often can have my meds filled by the time I get there if I leave straight from the Dr. Office. They help me come up with workarounds if there are supply issues, remember me, and generally seem to care. Itās an extra 40-50 min total but you will waste more time in the end going to this Safeway.
