Employees are able to skip the line at the deli.

Possibly closing? Been here 3 times now and each time has been worse than before.
Tried to pick up a cake at the bakery twice. On two separate instances, I’ve gone over to the bakery, waited patiently for someone to show up, and eventually walked away. I did see someone attending the deli counter so I went over there and asked them to help. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to leave their station. I was told to go to the front of the store and ask for help. Upon checking out, I asked once more for help to get a cake and was told, “maybe there’s know one working the bakery”.

Store personnel are not very friendly.

It's convenient to me but expensive. And I had $100 in groceries and had to use self-checkout. Not happy about that! If I only had a few things, that would have been fine. As I was leaving the store and pushed cart in front of me, I passed the regular checkouts and this time 1 was open! Not thrilled. I was told I had to use self checkout. A friend told me Giant has a rule you can't use self checkout with more than 20 items (think she said 20). Wish Safeway had this! My feet and back were killing me after the self checkout process.

Employees are dysfunctional. You ask them a question and they look like they want to kill you before giving an answer. They need to hire employees who actually know customer service

Honestly, this is a great shopping place, and has got almost everything you’d usually want at a store. The only thing I’d keep in mind, is that it also is kind of like a convenience store in that price wise sometimes it may or may not be a little more, just cause it’s so close to everything without going out so far and traveling,or taking the highways. But other than that, pretty good. The place is well up-kept.

Every time I go there to get yogurt it’s always out dated. I went there the other day, to get yogurt. It was a Yoplait yogurt expiration for July this is September.

Every time I come in this store there’s a creepy guy who works in produce and he makes it so uncomfortable for you to even wanna shop in the produce section as a woman , because instead of him doing his job he stares you down making you feel uncomfortable. And he tends to do that to a lot of women

This Safeway is basically a giant 7-11. Everything is at convenience store proces, the produce is average quality at premium prices. Also, there are no hand baskets so you either need to hold all of your stuff or walk around with a full size shopping cart. There are no bags. I get that they have to charge for bags per Baltimore County rules. When you check out, it asks you how many bags you used, but the answer is always zero, since they never even have bags. I only go there if I am really desperate and don't feel like driving to a normal supermarket.

It’s 7:55pm so I’m in the check out line self checkout and 2 Jewish girls start scanning stuff and stealing they spent about 5 mins at the machine while the curly head girl was suppose to be watching the self check out the safe way worker folks just in line waiting while the 2 girls laughing finally the curly head worker comes over and voids the transaction and was going to let the girls walk off without paying the balance until I looked at her and said wow … then she says something to the girls and took one candy back but still allowed them to walk out with the rest they had change but meanwhile me and my son come in here on the regular and every time the workers so close to us acting like we going to steal something or not scan something this right here really touched me because wow our skin really do be the problem mean while stealing was being done right in front of the worker face and she wasn’t going to say anything nothing at all

Safeway @ Smith Ave. Baltimore must do better.....it's feel like 1000 million degrees in the store. What's the problem? This is horrible for your staff and customers. It's always my pleasure to have Ms.Karen as a cashier. Today she seem to be extremely exhausted.....Safeway @ Smith Ave. Baltimore when will you do better?

This Safeway on Smith Avenue in Pikesville (Baltimore,MD) has the worst prices. The prices are predatory. A small box of cereal rang up for $6.89, once the club savings kicked in it was $1.99. I went to get jiffy pop popcorn. It was $5, at Giant nearby, the same jiffy pop popcorn is $2 and change. The presentation at this Safeway is lacking and the prices are ridiculous. There is no reason for the prices to by jacked up so high in this sub par store. I drive right by and go to giant.
