Charges an 5-8% premium on most items
(Compared with save a lot on memcechen st and Maryland avenue)
Does not have traditional services like most supermarkets.
cash back only from food stamps?
(Not legal in Maryland)
Does not provide cash services
(Cash back , money orders etc)
But shuffles mostly elderly and low income customers to atm with 3.99 fee
(Requested by store manager)
Cashiers are decently friendly
But essentially taxing low income customers with fees and price gouging
If you live in this neighborhood I know the temptation of convenience is tough but
Save a lot on Mcmechen st is 1 mile away and has better service with lower prices.
It’s interesting that the lower income the neighborhood is the more save a lot charges

There was only one line open and a store full of people. The location itself is kinda small so a redesign is definitely needed. Other than waiting in line forever the staff was friendly.

Smelly, The cashiers and manager ( female ) are representative of the neighborhood. The conversations are foul and leaves a lot left to be desired.Whatever the hours, the manager closes the doors 20 minutes before so they can. get out by the closing time. listed on website. Just Ghetto

The store is very clean. I have rarely found the beef meats that are on sale. The cashier was very courteous. The security guard was too busy on his phone to greet customers.
