Thank you Brooke for making my shopping experience seamless and easy today! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and when she asked if I needed help with anything, I’m grateful to have been walked through matching my shade perfectly with the brand I wanted (versus pushing me to buy another). Furthermore, Brooke honored my preference of finding an alcohol-free setting spray—among other items—recommending a brand I wouldn’t have otherwise considered that has amazing reviews. This is the first time in a while I didn’t feel like I was receiving critiques or back-handed compliments regarding my preferences for makeup and skincare. It truly makes a difference to have someone help make, unbeknownst to them, a typically anxious person feel comfortable receiving genuine help. Loved her attitude and all around good natured spirit!

I went in on Friday 8/29 and every single lady was super helpful and nice, I wish I would’ve gotten names but it was a very pleasant experience and I will go back to this location because of them.

I don’t buy makeup and am a bit awkward. When I entered the store, I was very nicely greeted by Michael (or Micheal) who asked me my pronouns and gave me his. He then very kindly spent the next 30 minutes helping me test of foundation and answering my (probably ridiculously easy) questions about makeup. At no point did I feel embarrassed and Michael (or Micheal) went above and beyond to help me (he also sanitized all the products before use). I’m very grateful for this experience and left feeling twice as confident as when I walked in.

Decent Sephora storefront in the Harbor East area of Baltimore city. It's really nice that we have a Sephora in the city and we don't have to drive to the county. I can actually walk here which is really nice. That said this is not a statement on this retail store but Sephora as a whole, it just doesn't feel as luxury as it used to be and this store is a little chaotic at times and they are usually out of the things that I want, but the staff is really friendly. I really am more of an online shopper but for certain things like I need color matched I will come in and the staff will help!

Jayda was SO helpful in finding me the perfect foundation and a setting spray. She picked a brand (Haus) I had never even heard of and narrowed the shades down to two, and they were spot on. One was slightly lighter and the other darker so it was down to preference, and she helped me evaluate the pros and cons of each. She also answered a lot of questions about product I already owned--like if they were good or if she recommended something better. She was patient and really knew the products. I usually shop online, but I highly recommend visiting the store if you want expert advice and to feel more comfortable buying expensive luxury makeup products.
