I’ve been coming to bar method for almost a year now and it’s my favorite fitness class! All of the instructors are incredibly friendly and give hands on corrections so you get the best workout. Each class is different and the studio offers a variety of class formats. I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for a fun way to get in shape.

Love the Bar Method! I go to classes 3-4x per week and never get bored - they offer different types of classes (express, strength, cardio, restore), and each instructor has a unique style and music to keep you motivated. Plus, the studio regularly gamifies your workouts to help motivate you (who doesn't love earning stickers and free socks), and they host free events, partnering with Dry Bar, or making our own flower bouquets to take home.

An incredible workout that kicks my butt in the best way! I've been going to the Barre Method for almost a year and a half and don't plan on stopping any time soon. The studio is immaculate and the staff and instructors are truly the best - at this point they feel more like friends!

Bar Method is not like any other barre class! The instructors are kind, attentive to your body’s needs, and always make class fun! They pivoted during the pandemic to offer virtual classes and now they have more challenging class options.

Simply the best! I love a barre workout and have been doing them at various studios in other areas over the years. The Bar Method’s approach is all about proper form and positioning to safely maximize your workout, and it really makes a different. The studio is warm and inviting and I love all the instructors (and have multiple favorites ?). It feels like a neighborhood space, as many folks are local to the neighborhood and it has a real community feel.

After doing ballet through most of my childhood, I found myself really drawn to the barre workout (though barre is not just for dancers!! ?). I have done barre at several locally owned studios in various places I have lived and have really valued the tight-knit community at each studio, so I was hesitant to try a "chain" barre studio. I moved to Baltimore for school last year and tried out Bar Method Baltimore, and it did not disappoint! I get such a great workout at each class, and this location does such a great job of creating that community I desired. I love the variety of classes they offer too. Highly recommend!

I’ve been attending classes at Bar Method Baltimore for a year and a half now and am obsessed! Classes have similar formats but are never the same which keeps things fun and interesting. I am perpetually sore (in a good way) and have seen noticeable change in my strength and endurance. The instructors are so friendly and there are so many regulars that it’s come to feel like a community. Can’t say enough good things!

More than just an excellent workout, this place is a community you want to be a part of. The entire team is welcoming, the environment is comfortable, and the overall feeling of community coupled with challenging workouts that are never the same will keep you coming back for more. The classes can be as hard as you want to make them, but the incredible instructors provide safe, personalized options that meet you where you are on your fitness journey. They've recently expanded the types of classes offered, so there's something for everybody. And if you're the type who likes to reward yourself with some cute workout outfits, fun gifts or class packs, they carry brands like Beyond Yoga, Tavi and Lanston, and often have sales and membership specials (which you can learn about if you follow them on Instagram).I've been a member for just over a year, and have never been stronger or more fit in my life.

By far the best barre studio, honestly fitness studio, in the area! Amazing community of instructors and members who are supportive and friendly. Instructors are meticulous about form and all moves are vetted by physical therapists to ensure you stay safe and do not injure yourself. Also they have childcare during some classes! It has become mine and my kiddos’ happy place. Can’t say enough great things!

My favorite workout and studio in Baltimore! All of the instructors are welcoming and helpful. The environment is encouraging, especially for someone new to barre (like myself)! I leave class feeling strong, positive and proud.

I found the Bar Method by total chance and am so glad I did! I was hesitant at first since I have no background in dancing & wasn't sure it would be what I was looking for. In the end - all of that didn't matter. The instructors are so kind & helpful and every class has been so rewarding. Plus the facilities are so nice and clean! Highly recommend you check them out.

Lauren was AWESOME! This was my first class EVER. While it was a challenging workout (feeling it today) Lauren made instructions easy to follow and fun. Great music selection, an hour went by in a JIFFY! I can’t recommend it more - I will be back!

I have always struggled to maintain a workout routine. My. Whole. Life! Well, I have now been a member of The Bar Method for over 2 years and I have taken over 300 classes. Here are some specifics of why this place is so amazing: the instructors are super meticulous to form and making sure that every move you do is perfect in order to be most effective to results and safest for your body over time, the workouts are reasonable time length and hit every muscle in your body, you WILL see changes in your body and overall physical and mental health, the classes are challenging no matter what your fitness level but there are modifications for everyone so ANYONE can do it. I am a physician and mom to 2 little boys. I started my membership during my post-part in fitness journey with #1 and once I lost all the weight and was in great physical shape, I did it all again and managed to do classes through the entirety of my second pregnancy-literally taking my last class the week before baby came-and as soon as I was cleared I was back at it. I have never once felt out of place or intimidated. The instructors and staff are amazingly friendly and truly foster a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. Can’t say enough good things about this place. If you are at all on the fence or just trying to find a routine or happy place, look no further and give it a try!

I was brought as a guest to The Bar Method class and enjoyed it so much I immediately signed up for a membership! The instructors constantly are checking your form to make sure that you are in the best position so as not to injure yourself and to get the best workout in. The staff and teachers are all extremely warm and friendly and I feel welcome every time I step through the door. The facilities are all new, clean, and very nice. I go almost every day and I feel like I'm getting a great workout in! I've been a member for over a year now and have never felt so in shape and happy with my body as I have with The Bar Method Baltimore! They have helped me to feel beautiful, graceful, and strong. The owner and staff have created the most amazing community of members. I tell all my friends about barre and how awesome the Bar Method Baltimore is!
