The Violin Studio, Baltimore offers private violin and viola lessons, beginners to advanced players. Cello lessons beginners to intermediate players.
My studio has two recitals a year, one in November and May. Recitals offer students an opportunity to perform with a pianist in a beautiful location for family and friends to attend.

As an elderly (77) beginner I have had a great experience with Robert Sorel. He really wants you to do well and the lessons are a lot of fun. He’s very perceptive about identifying things that will improve your playing and the pace of progression is just right.

Robert is the best cello teacher a person could ask for. I have been his student for over 3 years. He is very friendly and patient with me. He has taught me a lot over the years and he is very talented player.

Mr. Sorel makes learning very comfortable for my daughter. He always goes the extra mile with his time and kindness. Very glad my daughter wants to keep coming back.
