so bad. went for pickup, closed. no notice, nothing. went again in the afternoon, a notice appeared saying they will open on the next day. went the next day, closed. no one, no light, just nothing. It's so much nothing that you start to question your existence in front of the door with your pickup notice in hand and don't know what you should be angry about.

I really don't understand the negative reviews of this post office. I've been coming here from more than 20 years and I've always found the people who work here extremely helpful and friendly. To my mind, they go out of their way to be helpful, polite and efficient. It is not their fault if the post office is understaffed. In fact, it's a testament to their positive attitude that even with it being understaffed, they continue to be positive in the way they treat customers.

Sometimes I think Nationalized healthcare is the answer then I walk into, well, try, to a Post Office and see what a disaster nationalized mail has become. No one enjoys the experience, even the woman working there. In this case they close 2:15-3:15 for lunch. How many service institutions close for lunch? I arrive at 3:25, closed. At 3:40 an unpleasant woman stares at the 6 people waiting. Never said a word. Since we have no other choice, neither do we. One woman waiting says it happened yesterday, another said it happens all the time. So now I’ll go to Towson. Read those review, that woman is disliked by name. Seriously, terrible. I had to chose one star, zero was not an option.

Closed at 4pm when their hours on the door clearly say they're open until 5pm. They locked their door and I could see them just sitting there pretending I don't exist

One of the worst post offices in Baltimore, which is a shame since it is in a nice location. Has only 1 worker who operates at the speed of a turtle. You will wait 30+ minutes for the bare minimum. Shouldn’t have to educate workers on what a US territory vs foreign country is. Baffling!

Tried to mail a package to my parents at the address they have had for thirty years. I have sent many packages there before. The clerk insisted the address did not exist in their system and that there was no way to mail it. I explained that I was certain the address was correct and suggested trying to put it in again, but the clerk was not interested in helping. I went to another post office and they had no issues with the address and were able to easily mail it. Avoid this post office if you don't want to waste time going to multiple post offices to complete a simple task.

Second time I’ve rushed to get to the post office by 5- only to have this location closed and locked more than 10 mins early. So frustrating.

Excellent services and staff. I always admire the recruitment department of USPS because their staff is always supportive and cooperative. And they guide and satisfy the customers.

I've been going to the Roland Park Post Office since 1990 and have consistently received competent and friendly service. On most of my trips to the post office, customers have treated the staff with courtesy and they've gotten the same back. In the last few years, I've observed the post office staff being treated increasingly with condescension. When my turn at the window comes, I'll sometimes say that I'm sorry about how unkind the previous customer was. The most frequent response is that they're used to it.I've not seen my regular mail person for a few weeks and hope she's coming back - she's great!

This is the best post office in Baltimore. The employees are kind, responsive and create an atmosphere that is so much less tense and stressful than most post offices.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I've never been to a post office where a worker responds to "I need to create a label" with "I'm lost, I don't understand what you need."

If I could give the Roland Park Post Office a zero, I would. This past Saturday I stopped there to buy stamps. You would think a post office could sell a customer some stamps. Oh contrare. The clerk could not sell me a book of stamps advising this was not her normal office. (Like that mitigated the preposterous service). Thinking that it was a Saturday, and that had something to do with the ridiculousness, I returned on a Wednesday only to be given the same litany by the same clerk! Is it any wonder the Postal Service is wallowing in massive debt, given the inexcusable service they offer? Just sad and reprehensible.

If I could give the Roland Park branch zero stars, I would. This past Saturday I went to this branch to buy a book of stamps. You would think this would be a very easy tasking. Oh contrare! The clerk advised me that she could not sell me a book of stamps. I imagine this would be akin to the Starbucks being unable to serve its customers coffee. Thinking that perhaps the fact that it was a Saturday, played into the inability to sell the stamps, I returned Wednesday to again buy a book of stamps. The same clerk told me that she could not sell me stamps, and curtly suggested that I go to the Hamden branch. Is it any wonder that the postal service is wallowing in debt, given that type of preposterous response? Just sad and reprehensible. If the post office is unwilling, or unable to sell stamps, at the very least there should be a vending machine to act in their stead.
