Why is a Baltimore Walgreens charging me the Canadian price for a birthday card?
Update:
Brought card back. Manager was very nice. Explained that the cashier input the card incorrectly and provided me with the difference. He also took steps to help educate his staff.

This pharmacy has improved somewhat in the last year. It always seems understaffed, which is a Walgreens/management/labor shortage (?) issue. I’ve tried to find a better pharmacy with no success.

The WORST pharmacy in the world. There was never once I was there and didn’t have an issue, the staff is rude and not helpful at all.

I was on the phone with the pharmacy, waiting for 1 hour 49 minutes to get connected. They said "There are more than 3 callers ahead of you" for the first hour and a half. When the phone rang, nobody picked up for a few minutes and they disconnected the call without picking it up.
I called again. It started with "There are 3 callers ahead of you", and they hang up again when the pharmacy closed at 9pm. I called them at 6:41pm.
The service is non-existent.
The reason for the call - they got 2 prescriptions for me yesterday, confirmed by a text that they were processing. Today one is ready for pick-up, and another disappeared from records. No history of them receiving or processing it.
I went to this pharmacy quite a few times, and almost every time the experience is frustrating.
When I picked up free Covid home tests, there was only one time when a person was knowledgeable enough to do the transaction.
All other times both the pharmacist and the technicians lied to me that the program for the tests is discontinued and had no clue what to do. They rudely told me to leave. My child was sick, I needed the test, I was supposed to get it, and I stayed. It was ugly. I had to wait for over an hour until they figured out how to take the test off the shelf and ring it up.
Unprofessional, poorly trained, rude and don't pick up the phone on purpose to stall until the pharmacy closes.

Without a doubt the worst place I’ve ever been to

Horrible customer service... people were in the pharmacy line for over a hr for pick-up & the pharmacy manager shut down the line so she could take a smoke break. Store manager was forced to help cashiers in the pharmacy in an attempt to appease a very angry line of sick and elderly customers. I tried to be patient, but this is not my 1st incident at this pharmacy.

Love this place because of the consistent great customer service. Always love seeing employees with a big genuine smile in their face

I arrive at 2:30 to pick up a prescription called in by my doc around noon same day. I arrived for them to tell me it wasn’t ready. I asked for an estimation of when it would be ready and they said 4pm.
I come back at 5:30pm to find it still wasn’t ready for pick up. In my experience, 5 hours is plenty of time to prepare 1 scrip.
No explanation was given beyond the associate saying “the whatchamacallit” isn’t working.
This place is a joke.
Go some place else.
Extremely dissatisfied and will not be returning.

This place is awful! Incredibly disorganized. My father needs an urgent medication and I called twice to make sure it was ready, but both times they hung up on me. Showed up in person and there are 8 other disgruntled people waiting for their prescriptions and complaining about the wait time and disorganization. I’ll be switching pharmacies!

The reviews of this place are spot on. I don't normally bother to write a review but this Walgreens has employed at least 2 unprofessional individuals in a perpetual state of confusion that I've had the displeasure of speaking to when prescriptions are delayed, prescription orders are "cancelled" although still pending in app, when doctors have called in prescriptions but they "never received the call, etc. These are all things that can happen at any pharmacy, but when you add the ignorance and rudeness into the equation, a fixable situation becomes a headache. Just don't bother with these people.

Ever since the gentleman that was always working there was gone, the women seem to have become MORE rude than they were.

THE WORST!!! If I could give Walgreen's less than one star I would. I've never had so muny problems with a pharmacy. I have a prescription I've been taking for 10 years. I'm leaving town tomorrow and since it's not technically a month- until tomorrow- they will not fill it! Won't even send me out with 3 pills to hold me over until I'm back in town. Literally NEVER had this happen before! I will be returning all prescriptions to Lykos where they treat you like a human. Zero empathy or kindness- just blank stares. Horrible!!!
