My experience with Walgreens has been nothing short of a disaster over the past few days. I’ve received three different stories, and each one is worse than the last. Initially, I was told the two-week delay was due to the prior authorization process, but now that was “locked in,” and I was promised my medicine was on order and would be ready by Tuesday. Surprise—nothing showed up.
On Wednesday, I was told there was no record of the prescription being ordered. Then, after some digging, they found it and claimed it would be ready before closing. A half hour later, I get a text asking for updated insurance information—an absurd request since I fill prescriptions here regularly. After speaking with the pharmacist, I was told my insurance company denied the prior authorization.
I decided to call my benefits provider, and it turns out Walgreens never even bothered to initiate the prior authorization process—despite assuring me for two weeks that they were actively working on it, had received it and finally telling me it had been denied.
I get that pharmacies are busy, but this is unacceptable. Sam’s Club gets it right every single time. The drive-through window and empty promises aren't worth the endless headaches. I won’t be back.

The pharmacy or there computer system is always messing up my Perscription! I go to get my perscriptions and I get home and open the bag and I will have only two when I told them there should be 3 and I will with in minutes get an alert that my Perscription is ready for pick up. They will give me a partial perscriptions but not tell me. Then when I check the app to see if the other part is filled it never changes from processing. I then have to go into the pharmacy and ask why and they always give me some excuses like I was suppose to tell them to fill it or i waited to long so they canceled the order but no one has ever told me when I need to come back! This and more happens all the time!

During my visits to the store, I have always appreciated the staff's attentiveness in assisting me with finding the items I am looking for. Today, despite the heavy rain outside, they ensured that I was able to leave safely and kindly suggested if I needed to I could wait inside. I love the staff. 😁

Avoid the pharmacy at all costs. They will intentionally fill ADHD medications with higher costing brand name versions and claim there is a shortage. Save your $ and go anywhere else in the local area. Something crooked may be going on here with controlled medications.

Pharmacy at Walgreens at Compass Road is ridiculous! One person working the front! One person in front of me waiting 1/2 to be waiting on! Picking up 2 prescriptions only1 ready! Still waiting! The line is 8 people back! I will be looking for a new pharmacy! My time is valuable!

This location is very dangerous for patients. I was surprised many times I had a prescription to be filled or refilled there because each time I called them theu pick up the phone and hang up without a word and sometimes they ignore you hoping thst you get tired and leave them alone.
If this is not dangerous for any patient I don't know what it is. If it's me I would recommend my friends and family to look for service elsewhere. There are many pharmacies put there with patiemt focus
Check the i.age from the last call on 01/18/2025 and they never even bothered to help.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting my local pharmacy, and I can't say enough good things about the team there. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine kindness. Each member of the pharmacy staff exudes professionalism, making every interaction feel both reassuring and pleasant.
What truly stands out is how gracefully they handle their responsibilities. Despite the often-busy environment, they manage to maintain a calm demeanor, efficiently processing prescriptions while taking the time to answer questions and address concerns. In a world where healthcare can sometimes feel impersonal, this pharmacy team truly shines. Their blend of efficiency and compassion is a rare find, and I am so grateful for the exceptional service they provide. Highly recommend!

Went to CVS in the target and they were very slow. Told me my prescriptions will take a couple of hours. So I called my doctor to have it transfered to this Walgreens. Fast, friendly and waaaaaay more cheaper! I will be using them from now on!
