Currently this location is undergoing construction. Typically they put out food just fine. There's the lingering grease in the air when you enter. Sometimes the mop water doesn't spread the grease across the entire restaurant and it's only a little sticky. I'm not actively looking to eat here in the store. They could convert it to a walk up to order sort of establishment and I'm sure people wouldn't mind. In the last couple of months the food quality shifts depending on the crew and the volume of people. Should that be the problem, no. But sure there's a reason for everything.

Worst Wendy’s.. maybe worst fast food… I’ve ever been to in my life. Always slow and rude. We waited in the drive thru for 20 mins and then decided to go in because we hoped it would be faster. We were inside for another 30… I would have left but I ordered and paid on the app and they couldn’t give me a refund. Avoid at all costs.

I went back and forth on whether or not it would be worth it to leave a review but seeing that there are other people who also encountered rude people here I see that it’s an actual issue. I came here last night around 11:30PM (Friday) to order through the drive-thru. They were out of a few things which was totally fine and understandable but what wasn’t okay for me was someone (not even the person taking my order) saying “well don’t order anything and go home”. We all have jobs so I understand having moments where you’re just frustrated but the interaction was actually very unnecessary cause I wasn’t even mad or upset in any way that they were out of what I wanted. Y’all don’t close until 1:30AM. If you’re going to have an attitude with people who don’t have an attitude with you because it’s late then maybe you should work a day shift or maybe that person doesn’t need to have a headset to interact with customers. I actually ended up not even getting anything because I was over it after that and people can be weird so if you’re tryna snap out over y’all being out of spicy nuggets what else am I about to deal with? I am thankful to the person who was taking my order. They were very pleasant and patient.

I ordered ahead in the app and was disappointed that I had to wait in my car for my order to be completed. My disappointment quickly faded when I recognized that the gentleman was running a one-man-show. He did an excellent job with bringing my freshly made food to the car as soon as possible. He was very pleasant and I appreciate his kindness.FYI: this happened last Sunday around 8:30am

Kept me waiting in the lobby for 15 while serving new customers. Then had to wait another 10 mins to get my food. This location has to improve their service. Some people come here with limited time and have to go over lunches and breaks due to this store.

Understaffed at this time. Even the doordash people were walking out abandoning their order. Mobile order took 25 min for one sandwich and a drink.

Hot, like the turned off the a/c line with almost no people in line and took 20min just to order. Person behind the counter had trouble with bagging and management would not even show much help. Food kept getting mixed up and even others would have to wait due to bad management.

It seems every time I go to this Wendy’s the service gets worse. The last time I went I was given hard burgers and cold fries. I had done a mobile order, and once I got there around ten minutes after the order was placed I was told “Why are y’all still doing orders, we are trynna close”. This was a Friday night, online hours say they’re open until 1AM. We arrived to pickup the order at 11:30PM, so either the hours are wrong or they were just trying to close early and upset that they had to literally do their job. Another thing about this Wendy’s is they only take one car at a time, so one car will order, pay, wait for their stuff, then leave and then will they finally take another car after five minutes; I don’t get it?? There’s many more stories I could share about this place too.

They are rude people that works their, they should be shut down or hire new people that has great customer service. Every time I get food their it's a problem of not getting what I ordered, employees always rude!!!!!

This Essex Wendy's is the absolute worst. Not only do they mess up a mobile order 9 out of 10 times but they give you wrong food as well. The service is terrible, no one is nice ,no one smiles, there is never any bbq or ranch dip.also there is a lot of playing goin on every time we go there.

I Drive an adult Daycare Bus ?, and I took a total of Eleven (11) people to Wendy's on Gov Ritchie Highway, The Food and the service was outstanding, great place.
