This pharmacy is efficient and responsible. The parking is an inconvenience. It is an option.

They are always out of so many things. Whoever is in charge has no idea how to keep the store stocked. Empty shelves etc. Don't door dash things from here- they won't have what you want and won't have your substitutions either. Please don't believe the comment by the company below- I've lived in the area for 20 years- they have been working to restock their shelves the entire time. They have never been able to keep adequate inventory records which would result in timely auto shipping to renew their items. Their deliveries are not more frequent to keep up with the pace at which people are buying. These are all changes which could help keep their shelves stocked and in 20 years they cannot seem to muster those adjustments.

I loathe going here and avoid it whenever possible. As far as the store goes a lot of the shelves are just plain empty and don't have anything. Several times I've come here for basic items like toothpaste, shave cream, household cleaners etc and been unable to find what I'm looking for. Worse still, sometimes the section will be depleted so there are few if any alternate types/brands. The pharmacy is even worse. They're impossible to reach by phone, extremely slow with service, and often out of stock or unable/unwilling to fill a prescription for various reasons. Out of the 6 or 7 times I've tried to get a prescription or vaccine through the pharmacy I've been successful maybe twice. Several times I've been made to wait upwards of a half hour only to be told there was an error in the system and my prescription cannot be filled or something like that. This is why I get medicine via mail order whenever possible. Only reason this isn't 1 star is the staff is mostly friendly and it's clear that the reason this place is so dreadful is because they're understaffed, undersupplied, and have to deal with a lot of unsavory customers and loiterers.

This store always have great Customer Service. The staff is wonderful. I come in the store all the time. They know me by name. Everyone is wonderful. Even the APs they possess the most customer service I've seen! Also, this store is not 24 hours no more. They close @ 12.

Nothing but absolutely wonderful service every time I have been to this this store. Unfortunately, many businesses in Baltimore lack decent customer service; this isn't one. No complaints whatsoever!

I was picking up a prescription for a family member at the RiteAid located at 250 W. Chase Street (Store #04295). The Pharmacy Tech was pleasant while talking to her, I wanted to make sure I was getting the right prescription and asked a question about the medicine. The Pharmacy Tech mentioned she wasn't sure and went to ask the Pharmacy Manager who was standing nearby. The male (who was Asian) Pharmacy Manager first snapped at her and then said he needs to go down to the other end of the counter find out "I'm on the phone". The Pharmacy Manager was unprofessional and very rude to me as well as the associate. If my family member didn't need their medicine I would have left the store but I stayed and waited until I could be waited on at the other end of the counter. I was quite dissatisfied and became angry by the way I was treated. If this is the type of management you want representing your company then good luck in the future. I don't shop in Rite Aid and trust me I have no plans shopping there in the future. No Customer Service skills and no personality is how I deem Rite Aid.

Always a long line. Day or night. Rain or shine. People that work there rather have a good time than a productive time. Just ring people's stuff up.

Worst pharmacy experience ever. Waited a good 5+ minutes at the counter (I was the only one waiting, no line). Heard some shuffling between the shelves so figured the person was just busy and would be with me in a minute. Then some loud-mouth lady comes barging in asking me if anyone's there. I told her I thought so, and then the person behind the counter popped up and started chit chatting with this lady at the drop-off window. Completely ignored me. I was still waiting there at the pick-up window. Finally she comes over to me. Just stares. No apology. No greeting. I say I called my prescription in and surprise, it's not ready. So then when it finally is, she tries to charge me twice as much as I pay at the much better Rite Aid I normally go to. I asked why I couldn't get it for the price I usually pay and she said it was because they don't have that exact brand. So you're telling me that because you're out of something I normally pay 20 bucks for, you're going to charge me 40 for what you do happen to have? This woman was rude, disrespectful, and totally unhelpful. You either offer to charge me the discounted rate because you are at fault for not having what I'm prescribed to pick up, or you help me find a Rite Aid that does. She did neither. Told me she couldn't find out if any other store had it. Apparently it wasn't all that impossible because I called another Rite Aid and they carried it. Too bad she couldn't be bothered to lift a finger to help me out at all. Tried to report this experience to the store manager, and {shocking} was told she was not on duty. This place is a complete joke, and certainly important pharmaceuticals should not be in the hands of such incompetent jerks. Will never come back here!! Just glad this woman was not the pharmacist, but instead was likely an assistant or tech. High-paying jobs should be reserved for those who are willing to provide a single modicum of decent customer service.
