We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast.
From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and thoughtful touches. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable — we especially appreciated the cozy linens and peaceful ambiance.
Each morning, breakfast was a highlight: fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious, with options that catered to different dietary needs. The location was perfect — quiet and scenic, yet close enough to explore local attractions and restaurants.
What really stood out was the genuine care and attention to detail throughout our stay. It’s clear the hosts take great pride in creating a welcoming and memorable experience. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, and we can’t wait to return!

I’ve stayed at Wilson House Bed and Breakfast twice now, and both times have been excellent. The owners, Guy and Clelia, were extremely kind and flexible with check-in times, which made arrival easy.
The house itself is full of history and decorated with beautiful artwork—it reminded me of a Victorian-era mansion. Breakfast each morning was a two-course meal served on china, with tea or coffee included. I especially enjoyed talking with Guy Thomas in the mornings. He’s the inventor of Satellite AIS (S-AIS), a technology that enables global ship tracking and has had a major impact on maritime safety.
My room was clean, quiet, and well-stocked with amenities—plenty of towels, shampoo and conditioner, makeup removing wipes, and fast Wi-Fi. Despite other guests staying at the house, I couldn’t hear any noise at all, which made for a relaxing stay.
The location is also convenient—about a 10-minute walk from the North Avenue station on the Baltimore Light Rail. It’s also close to the University of Baltimore, MICA, grocery stores, parks, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and the Baltimore City Zoo.
After two wonderful visits, I can confidently say I’ll be returning again. If you’re looking for a place with charm, character, warmth, and top-notch hospitality, Wilson House is it.

The owners Guy and Clelia are lovely and very kind people who have created a welcoming Bed and Breakfast where the past few centuries of history and modern comfort meet in a wonderful way. We stayed four nights in the Wilson room and were quite comfortable. The antique furnishings are sturdy and well-kept and the room was spotlessly clean. Highway traffic noise was evident on this side of the house, but I am sure the house was here long before the highway. Traffic noise does not bother me in the least, but if it bothers you ask for a room on a different side of the house. Beautiful historic home, gracious hosts, antique furnishings, and delicious breakfasts. What more could you ask for? We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends! I would recommend a pull chain extension on the ceiling fan light.

This place is a hidden gem!!! It's a historic house with tons of stories and charm. If you enjoy history and old war stories, this place is a must. While it's not the Ritz, I love it even better. Bring some ear plugs though, the road noise can be a little loud.

The Wilson House is truly a gem in the Charm City. Our room (the Wilson Room) was huge and spotlessly clean. The hosts were very friendly and communicative. A lot of small details were thought about and taken care of. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood near the Maryland Zoo. Our room directly faced I-83 and because of the thick window glass we did not hear traffic noise at all. The only downside is that because of the local street layout and construction, it could be somewhat tricky to get here. We would definitely stay here again.

Owners Guy and Clelia were gracious hosts. Clelia's breakfasts were delicious, and Guy entertains with many stories from an interesting (and busy) life. Our room was clean, pleasantly spacious and everything functional. The B&B is in a fairly quiet residential area (some highway drone though), and is convenient to MICA and the Maryland Film Festival. It's a doable walk (maybe kilometer) from the train station if you don't have too much luggage. Restaurants and stores are a similar walk. There's also a nearby tram stop. I would gladly stay here again.

Stayed for two nights because I wasn't reading good things about the nearby hotels. The location is out of the way (you won't be walking to get groceries) but it was a quiet, hidden corner of the city that felt separate from the rest of Baltimore. It's not a full-service hotel, it's a calm/historic B&B to catch your breath and sleep easy in an often cold and rough city. Be aware that the Purple Room is, in fact, extremely purple if you book that room. Overall, I recommend the location for an alternative to a short hotel stay.

A great experience with Clelia and Guy. They've been in the business for 19 years and it shows.Safety: Felt very comfortable walking in the area day and night.Walkability: Public transit only a few minutes away. Some sidewalks are older/uneven so some caution required just to be safe.

My son is a student at Johns Hopkins University, so on our first visit to Baltimore, we stumbled upon this gem. Guy and Clelia are wonderful host. Very clean and very quiet. Absolutely obsessed with the Victorian decor. Have stayed here multiple times, and will continue to do so when in Baltimore.
