Hello, went there for 1970's brass plumbing supplies. The person who helped me, a gentlemen in his 50's maybe, told me they didn't have it but he put me on to the place that did and that was after not being able to find it on the internet. Very helpful. Thank you

As a homeowner, I've been to Northeastern several times over the last ten years. This place is good. The assistants are consistently knowledgeable and helpful. Some may not be cuddly, and sometimes a little prickly, but if you have been to plumbing supply stores anywhere on this part of the East Coast, these are normal, good people.
The inventory here is excellent. When you can't find what you need from a local box store, or you just want a better quality fitting, or just need expert advice on the firing you need for a repair or job, then. This is the place to go.

staff completely ignored my wife, and was uninterested in assisting her. She was more interested in talking on the phone than helping. Go somewhere else don't waste your time.

Anytime I’ve ever picked supplies up from this store, it’s always been easy and the staff is knowledgeable, and courteous. In my opinion, the quality of the product is better than if you buy from a big box store.

Over the last few years of dealing with NE, I've only had good experience. Staff are helpful, friendly. Merchandise is better quality and price than big box stores. Don't be put off by their showroom. Years ago it made me presume higher prices, when that isn't the case. Not going to sign into Yelp to correct the poor rating there, but Yelp is wrong. Full disclosure: I have no financial or family, friends ties to NE. I'm just a DIY homeowner.

Today I needed an expansion pex angle stop, so I called the store to find out whether they had the part in stock. I was very happy to speak with a woman who told me that she had the part, and I made the drive to the store. Upon arriving, I waited for about five minutes until the sales person finished his conversation about Covid vaccinations with another customer. After that I was over, I told the salesperson what I was looking for. I told him that I had just called, and he went in the back to ask the other employees who had spoken with me. A manager became irate with the employee and told her that northeastern had decided to not sell the angle stop to customers who did not have a large amount of purchases due to a part shortage. The woman, thinking that I had suddenly gone deaf, then turned to me and told me that they were sold out. The manager understood how ridiculous this was and came out to tell me that he could not sell me *one* angle stop because of a shortage, and that the parts that he had were only for sale to high volume customers. I had called in advance to avoid wasting my time, and they just added insult to injury. Terrible customer service and I will never shop here again.

It's a little tricky to find, but worth it! When I was visiting my father, he asked me to come here to get a flushing mechanism for a toilet. I arrived armed with a sample and a note from my dad. After waiting in line less than three minutes, an associate took one look at the sample and note and brought me exactly what I needed. The best part--it was under $6! My dad says he regularly visits, and they've never steered him wrong. It's across from The Festival on 924. It's very near the corner, but I missed the sign, which is pretty low (be sure to look down!).
