Update: have been coming here for a while now and they always do a great job. Only complaint is that today at pickup nobody was in the front of the store for a good five minutes. I tried calling to see if it brought someone out but it did not. It was only when I knocked on the door to the back and loudly asked if anyone was there that someone came out. It was pretty concerning, especially with the fact that there were 3 young women/teens in the little cat area, seemingly unsupervised by staff.

Before my dog got older and had to switch to kidney diet food I often bought his food here before the Pet Supplies Plus opened in Aberdeen. Wide selection of high quality treats, leashes, collars and other useful items. They have self grooming rooms you can rent for $25 that have absolutely everything you could need. The tubs are metal walk in tubs with a side door that groomers often use in their setups. They have a small ramp for your dog to easily walk into the tub which is great for large dogs or older dogs with mobility issues. Best of all the rooms are very clean unlike the horrifying situation in the Tractor Supply in Aberdeen where the grooming room looks like it's never once been cleaned in it's entire existence. I think ownership has changed a handful of times over the years at Pet Nirvana but it's nice to see that the store and inventory quality hasn't changed.

722 Baltimore Pike, Bel AirI am really grateful for the care my dog Fifi received during two very stressful visits. She is 13, has dementia, arthritis, bronchitis, anxiety, and was dealing with several things at once, so she can get overwhelmed very easily. Every person we encountered was patient with her and made a difficult situation feel a little more manageable.
Bella at the front desk was so helpful and kind. Madeline was wonderful too, both at the front desk and during intake, and Katelyn was very kind and professional during our first visit. Charly assisted with Fifi’s intake both times and was truly amazing. She was calm, patient, and warm with Fifi, and when she saw that Fifi was getting overstimulated, she offered to put us in a room. That meant a lot to me.
Rebecca also followed up by phone over the next few days, which was extremely helpful. I was able to explain some new things I was seeing with Fifi at home, and that conversation encouraged me to bring her back in to get another look.
We saw Dr. Taylor Brewer and Dr. Karla Rodriguez during our two visits, and I cannot say enough good things about either of them. They were both smart, thorough, professional, down to earth, and very kind. They took the time to explain what they thought was going on with Fifi and what the next steps were. I left feeling like I had done everything I could for her, which is such a comfort when your older dog has a lot going on.
My sister brought her dog here in his final days and recommended this hospital to me. I am really glad I listened to her. My regular vet is in DC and internal medicine doctor is in Bowie, so it is a huge relief to have an emergency vet closer to home where I feel confident my dog will be well cared for. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dogtopia of Bel Air! I honestly never thought I would be comfortable putting my dog in daycare, but the team at Dogtopia completely changed my mind.
They take such great care of him, and I have so much peace of mind knowing he is in good hands while he’s there. The best part is that he absolutely loves going! He gets so excited when we arrive, which tells me everything I need to know.
I also love that they do fun activities with the dogs and make their days more than just daycare. They keep them engaged, entertained, and socialized while giving them lots of love and attention.
The staff is caring, friendly, and genuinely seems to love the dogs they care for. I’m so grateful we found Dogtopia and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and loving place for their dog.
